Abstract: This paper presents the following definition which is a nat- ural combination of the definition for asymptotically equivalent, ‚- sta- tistical convergence and ae- convergence. Two nonnegative sequences (x) and (y) are said to be Sae;‚- asymptotically equivalent of multiple L provided that for every † > 0 lim n 1 ‚n k 2 In : xaek(m) yaek(m) i L ‚ † = 0

TL;DR: In this article, the p-th moment exponential stability problem is verified using Lyapunov functionals, based on criteria on the bases of which it is relatively easy to verify the exponential stability.
Abstract: Since neutral stochastic functional differential equations are essentially complex, it is not easy to study stability problems of their solutions by applying usual procedures based on Lyapunov functionals. In this paper we present criteria on the bases of which it is relatively easy to verify the p-th moment exponential stability.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors introduce and study upper and lower almost ∞-continuous multifunctions as a generalization of some types of continuous multifunctions including almost continuity, al- most fi-continuity, almost precontinuity and ∞ continuity.
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to introduce and study upper and lower almost ∞-continuous multifunctions as a generalization of some types of continuous multifunctions including almost continuity, al- most fi-continuity, almost precontinuity, almost quasi-continuity and ∞- continuity. Furthermore, basic characterizations, preservation theorems and several properties concerning upper and lower almost ∞-continuous multifunctions are investigated. The relationships between almost ∞- continuous multifunctions and the other types of continuity are also discussed.

TL;DR: In this paper, a fixed point theorem for expansion mappings is established in a complete metric space under certain conditions, where the completeness of space is replaced with a set of four alternative conditions for functions satisfying implicit relations.
Abstract: In this note a fixed point theorem for expansion mappings is established in a complete metric space under certain conditions. Further a common fixed point theorem for pair of weakly compatible expansion mappings is established. In this theorem the completeness of space is replaced with a set of four alternative conditions for functions satisfying implicit relations. These theorems extend and improve results of S. M. Kang [4], M. A. Khan et al. [5] B. E. Rhoades [11] and T. Taniguchi [12].

Abstract: We define the concept of weakly f-compatible pair (f,S) in non-Archimedean Menger probabilistic metric spaces and obtain a com- mon fixed point theorem for four maps which improves a theorem of Y.J.Cho.et.al.

TL;DR: In this article, the notion of g-pr-closed sets was introduced, and properties of G-pr closed sets and the relationships between them and generalized closed sets were studied.
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to study further characterizations and the relationships of -p-normal spaces, almost -p-normal spaces and mildly -p-normal spaces. We introduce the notion of g-pr-closed sets. Also, we obtain properties of g-pr-closed sets and the relationships be- tween g-pr-closed sets and the related generalized closed sets. By using g-pr-closed sets, we introduce new forms of generalized --precontinuity. Moreover, we obtain new characterizations of -p-normal spaces, almost -p-normal spaces and mildly -p-normal spaces and preservation theo- rems.

TL;DR: In this article, some inequalities for functions of bounded variation that provide reverses for the inequality between the integral mean and the pinorm for p 2 (1;1) are established.
Abstract: Some inequalities for functions of bounded variation that provide reverses for the inequality between the integral mean and the pinorm for p 2 (1;1) are established. Applications related to the celebrated Landau inequality between the norms of the derivatives of a function are also pointed out.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reprove a result of V.V. Makeev [9] about a 6-equipartition of a measure on S2 by three planes.
Abstract: Measure partition problems are classical problems of geometric combinatorics ([1], [2], [3], [4]) whose solutions often use tools from the equivariant algebraic topology. The potential of the computational obstruction theory approach is partially demonstrated here. In this paper we reprove a result of V.V. Makeev [9] about a 6-equipartition of a measure on S2 by three planes. The advantage of our approach is that it can be applied on other more complicated questions of the similar nature.

Abstract: In this paper we use the CS / TM scheme stated in [1] for the V.V. Makeev equipartition problem [7] to prove the existence of new weighted partitions. For the first time computations of the as- sociated equivariant problem are done by codes written in the package Mathematica 5.0 [2].

TL;DR: The third order interval Gargantini method for the simultaneous inclusion of polynomial zeros was improved to the fourth order method by Carstensen and Petkovic as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: The third order interval Gargantini method for the simultaneous inclusion of polynomial zeros was improved to the fourth order method by Carstensen and Petkovic [An improvement of Gargantini’s simultaneous inclusion method for polynomial roots by Schroeder’s correction, Appl. Numer. Math. 13 (1994) 453-468]. We investigate the numerical stability of this improved method in the presence of rounding errors. The dependence of the convergence rate of the considered method on the magnitude of rounding errors is studied.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors prove some results in the manifold linearity of a polynomial, these results play an important role in the comparison of two linear partial differential operators problem.
Abstract: The comparison of differential operators is a problem that was formulated in sixties by Lars Hormander, it is a part of the theory of partial differential operators with constant coefficients, this problem up to now does not have a complete solution. The urgency of this problem is stipulated by the applications of the solvability theory of differential equations in special spaces of generalized functions. In this paper we prove some results in the manifold linearity of a polynomial, these results play an important role in the comparison of two linear partial differential operators problem.
