Abstract
A forward converter topology with independently and precisely regulated multiple outputs is presented in this paper. In this topology, each regulated output has its own feedback control circuit that controls the appropriate synchronous rectifiers in the pertinent output stage. All output circuits are voltage-decoupled from each other, and the cross-regulation between the outputs is eliminated. Steady state analysis as well as small signal modeling is performed to understand the topology and to provide design guidance. A prototype circuit with two outputs is built, and experimental results are presented for proof-of-concept.

Integrated Dual-Output Converter

TL;DR: A family of single-input-multiple-output (SIMO) dc-dc converter topologies, which can provide one step-up and multiple step-down outputs, which has been presented and results show that the proposed converter has very good cross-regulation to step load change as well as dynamic reference change in either output.

Two-Stage Cell Balancing Scheme for Hybrid Electric Vehicle Lithium-Ion Battery Strings

TL;DR: In this article, a two-stage charge equalization scheme for HEV lithium-ion battery string is proposed with the optimal power rating design rule, where in the first stage the over charged energy of higher voltage cells is drawn out to the single common output capacitor and then, that discharged energy is recovered into the overall battery stack in the second stage.

Modeling of cross-regulation in converters containing coupled inductors

TL;DR: In this article, a general model of the multiple-winding coupled inductor is described, in which all parameters can be directly measured, and the resulting cross-regulation models are employed in a tutorial explanation of the mechanisms by which leakage inductances and effective turns ratios affect cross regulation and discontinuous conduction mode boundaries in a multiple-output converter with arbitrary number of outputs.
