Capital-labor substitution and economic efficiency

TLDR
In this article, the authors proposed a method to improve the quality of the service provided by the service provider by using the information of the user's interaction with the provider and the provider.
Abstract
Обсуждаются следующие темы: чистая теория производства, функциональное распределение дохода, технический прогресс, источники международных конкурентных преимуществ. Анализируются эластичность замещения между трудом и капиталом в обрабатывающей промышленности; производственные функции различного типа.

A Production Function with Variable Elasticity of Factor Substitution

TL;DR: In this article, the existence of a new production function with variable elasticity of factor substitution was proved and the econometric estimates confirmed some other results and reinforced the conclusion that the sigma is well below the Cobb-Douglas value of one.

Estimation of substitution parameter in indian industries: a disaggregated approach

TL;DR: In this paper, the elasticity of substitution between labor and capital for Indian industries classified according to 21 three-digit and 2 one-digit ISIC sectors is estimated. And the authors also test whether the estimated values of elasticity for substitution between labour and capital tend to change from one year to another and also whether it is Cobb-Douglas or CES or VES production function that characterizes a particular sector.

Virtuous smoothing for global optimization

TL;DR: In the context of global optimization and mixed-integer nonlinear programming, the authors developed a virtuous smoothing method, using cubics, aimed at functions having some limited non-smoothness.

Determining the sources of growth of the cement industry in Iraq (analytical study for the period 1990-2014)

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors have built an econometric model, by adapting the production function constant elasticity for substitution, using multiple regression, and enforcement, SPSS program, and using the ordinary least squares method (OLS).

Resource and output trends in the United States since 1870

TL;DR: In this paper, a very brief treatment of three questions relating to the history of our economic growth since the Civil War is given, namely: (1) How large has been the net increase of aggregate output per capita, and to what extent has this increase been obtained as a result of greater labor or capital input on the one hand and of a rise in productivity on the other? (2) Is there evidence of retardation, or conceivably acceleration, in the growth of per capita output? (3) Have there been fluctuations in the rate of growth of output, apart
