Capital-labor substitution and economic efficiency

TLDR
In this article, the authors proposed a method to improve the quality of the service provided by the service provider by using the information of the user's interaction with the provider and the provider.
Abstract
Обсуждаются следующие темы: чистая теория производства, функциональное распределение дохода, технический прогресс, источники международных конкурентных преимуществ. Анализируются эластичность замещения между трудом и капиталом в обрабатывающей промышленности; производственные функции различного типа.

Technology and International Trade: a Heckscher—Ohlin Approach

TL;DR: The assumption that free trade would in the long run be sufficient to equalise between countries the rewards of labour and capital has been criticised in the real world as mentioned in this paper, and a variety of suggestions as to which simplifying assumptions of the Heckscher-Ohlin model are not fulfilled in real world.

On the measurement of efficiency and productivity under firm heterogeneity

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors address firm-heterogeneity in micro-level panel datasets and the necessity to take this heterogeneity into account to obtain unbiased measures of productivity (growth) and technical efficiency in a parametric frontier framework.

Microeconomic theory of chemical production processes: application to aqueous VOC air stripping operations

TL;DR: In this article, a microeconomic formalism for chemical processes is applied to air stripping of harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from aqueous streams in a conventional packed tower.

Technical efficiency and elasticity of input substitution in the Canadian food manufacturing industry

Aditya Singh
TL;DR: In this article, Singh et al. estimated technical efficiency and the elasticity of input substitution between factors in production in the Canadian food manufacturing industry and found that there is only modest scope for increasing aggregate productivity through improvement in technical efficiency.

Technical change and the aggregate production function

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method to improve the performance of the system by using the information of the user's interaction with the system and the system itself, including the interaction between the two parties.

Resource and output trends in the United States since 1870

TL;DR: In this paper, a very brief treatment of three questions relating to the history of our economic growth since the Civil War is given, namely: (1) How large has been the net increase of aggregate output per capita, and to what extent has this increase been obtained as a result of greater labor or capital input on the one hand and of a rise in productivity on the other? (2) Is there evidence of retardation, or conceivably acceleration, in the growth of per capita output? (3) Have there been fluctuations in the rate of growth of output, apart
