Determination of optimum speed of an internal combustion engine by exergy analysis

TL;DR: In this paper, energy and exergy analysis were applied to the experimental data of an internal combustion engine operating on the conventional Otto cycle, and the results indicated that energy efficiency is maximum at a speed of 2040 rpm whereas exergy efficiency was maximum at an engine speed of 2580 rpm.
