Exploring the potential of vineyards for biodiversity conservation and delivery of biodiversity-mediated ecosystem services: A global-scale systematic review
TLDR
Several studies support the view that promoting biodiversity in vineyard-dominated landscapes could also positively impact on several ecosystem services, and knowledge gaps that should be filled by future research are revealed.About:

More than wine : cultural ecosystem services in vineyard landscapes
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used Q-Method to identify social perspectives on ecosystem services provided by vineyards and found that wine producers in California had different perspectives than residents; wine producers placed more value on ecosystems more directly connected with wine production, while residents focused more on ecosystems that benefit nature conservation or leisure activities.

A comprehensive approach for agroecosystem services and disservices valuation.
TL;DR: A comprehensive approach for valuation of agroecosystem services and disservices was proposed and validated in a semi-arid western Mediterranean agricultural area through stakeholder assessment, and the results suggest that all categories of services (provisioning, regulating, and cultural) should be taken into account when valued.

Towards a sustainable viticulture: The combination of deficit irrigation strategies and agroecological practices in Mediterranean vineyards. A review and update
TL;DR: In this article , the state of the art of different physiologically-based water-saving irrigation strategies and methods used to improve productive water use efficiency and berry and wine quality in vineyards are reviewed.

Diverse herbaceous cover crops promote vineyard arthropod diversity across different management regimes
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of management practices and environmental variables on arthropod diversity under varying vineyard management regimes in a South African biosphere reserve was assessed for different taxonomic groups (spiders, beetles, and true bugs), in different positions in the crop (ground level, on cover crops, and on vine foliage).

Effects of Habitat Fragmentation on Biodiversity
TL;DR: In this article, the authors suggest that the term "fragmentation" should be reserved for the breaking apart of habitat, independent of habitat loss, and that fragmentation per se has much weaker effects on biodiversity that are at least as likely to be positive as negative.

TL;DR: It is shown that tremendous progress could be made by halting agricultural expansion, closing ‘yield gaps’ on underperforming lands, increasing cropping efficiency, shifting diets and reducing waste, which could double food production while greatly reducing the environmental impacts of agriculture.

Landscape perspectives on agricultural intensification and biodiversity – ecosystem service management
TL;DR: In this article, the negative and positive effects of agricultural land use for the conservation of biodiversity, and its relation to ecosystem services, need a landscape perspective, which is difficult to be found in the literature.
REVIEWS AND SYNTHESES Landscape perspectives on agricultural intensification and biodiversity - ecosystem service management
TL;DR: In this article, the negative and positive effects of agricultural land use for the conservation of biodiversity, and its relation to ecosystem services, need a landscape perspective, which may compensate for local highintensity management.
