Gender-specific transcriptional profiling of marine medaka (Oryzias melastigma) liver upon BDE-47 exposure.

Results revealed that in male O. melastigma only, BDE-47 exposure may activate phosphoinositide-3-kinase and mitogen-activated protein kinase, proteins that play importance roles in cell growth, proliferation and survival.
