Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and Cytotoxicity Comparison of Type A Gelatin Nanoparticles with Recombinant Human Gelatin Nanoparticles

TL;DR: The cell viability of the GA nanoparticles was less than that of the rHG nanoparticles, suggesting that rHg nanoparticles should be considered as an alternative to animal-origin gelatin nanoparticles in order to minimize the safety problems.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and Characterization of Cisplatin Magnetic Solid Lipid Nanoparticles (MSLNs): Effects of Loading Procedures of Fe3O4 Nanoparticles

TL;DR: Procedure I, the developed deliberate MNs loading method, was superior over procedure II in cisplatin encapsulation efficiency, MNs content and cell cytotoxicity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Controlled delivery of Gemcitabine Hydrochloride using mannosylated poly(propyleneimine) dendrimers

TL;DR: The aim of the present investigation was to deliver Gemcitabine Hydrochloride (GmcH), an anticancer bioactive, specifically to lung tumor cells using mannosylated 4.0G poly(propyleneimine) dendrimers (M-PPI) and the developed formulations showed pH-sensitive release with faster release at acidic pH, i.e., pH 4.4.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhancing the Cellular Uptake and Antibacterial Activity of Rifampicin through Encapsulation in Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles.

TL;DR: Evidence is provided for the potential to design silica nanocarrier systems with controlled surface chemistries that can be used to re-sensitise intracellular bacteria to antibiotics by delivering them to the site of infection.
Journal ArticleDOI

High-voltage, electric field-driven micro/nanofabrication for polymeric drug delivery systems

TL;DR: Mechanisms behind electrostatic processes are discussed and connections among these techniques that can lead to the design and fabrication of specific drug delivery systems using an electrostatic generator are explored.
