TL;DR: An invigorated research program on redesigning of wheatplant, discovery and assembly of hybrid vigour, efficient management of water and drought, genetically superior system of uptake and translocation of nutrients, suitable germplasm adapted to conservation tillage practices, andurable and multiple disease resistance in wheat and transgenics would ensure a superior germplas base from which future cultivars with high and stable yield potential would be made available to the farmers.

TL;DR: The results suggest that an enhanced cytochrome P450 monooxygenase (cytP450)-mediated detoxification mechanism may exist in the resistant strains, in addition to the cytP450-mediated metabolic pathway that activates coumaphos, and underscore the potential risk of couMaphos resistance in B. microplus from Mexico to the U.S. cattle fever tick eradication program.
