Prophylactic and therapeutic remdesivir (GS-5734) treatment in the rhesus macaque model of MERS-CoV infection.

TL;DR: The data show that remdesivir is a promising antiviral treatment against MERS that could be considered for implementation in clinical trials, and may also have utility for related coronaviruses such as the novel coronavirus 2019-nCoV emerging from Wuhan, China.
Journal ArticleDOI

- 27 Mar 2009 -
TL;DR: The Gamma-ray Burst Monitor and Large Area Telescope onboard the Fermi Observatory together record GRBs over a broad energy range spanning about 7 decades of gammaray energy, with the largest apparent energy release yet measured.
Journal ArticleDOI

Respiratory disease in rhesus macaques inoculated with SARS-CoV-2.

TL;DR: It is shown that SARS-CoV-2 causes a respiratory disease in rhesus macaques that lasts between 8 and 16 days, which recapitulates the moderate disease that has been observed in the majority of human cases of COVID-19.
