Journal ArticleDOI

Alkali metal and magnesium enamides from metallation of the alkyl ligands [(2-Pyr)(SiMe3)CH2 and [6-Me-(2-Pyr)(SiMe3)CH2]: a solid state and ab initio study

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that as the coordination environment of the metal increases the enamide form rather then the aza-allylic form becomes the most energetically favoured configuration.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and structures of photodecarbonylated ruthenium(II) complexes—potential intermediates for mixed ligand complexes

TL;DR: In this paper, a 2,2′-bipyridine analogue, RuL(CO)2Cl2, was shown to lead to monodecarbonylation and the formation of dimeric ruthenium(II) complexes, for which two different structures have been established, viz. with a trans disposition of bridging and terminal chlorides or with CO trans to bridging chlorides.
Journal ArticleDOI

Syntheses, structures and redox properties of {Os(PPh3)2Cp}2{μ-(CC)x} (x = 2, 3, 4): Comparisons with the Ru analogues

TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis of osmium complexes in the presence of KF/NaBPh 4 is described and the molecular structure of x ǫ = 3 has been determined by a single crystal XRD study.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and structural characterization of adducts of silver (I) diethyldithiocarbamate with P-donor ligands

TL;DR: In this article, the topology of the structures in the solid state was found to depend on the nature of the P-donor and on the Ag(dtc):P-donors stoichiometric ratio.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pyridine-functionalised C4 symmetric resorcinarenes

TL;DR: In this article, the pyridine-functionalised ligands were used to enable the resolution of the racemic mixture by forming salts with chiral acids, and three of the resulting macrocycles were structurally characterised.
