Structural Studies of Alkaline Earth Metal Picrates
TL;DR: In this article, room-temperature, single-crystal X-ray structure determinations are recorded for alkaline earth metal metal picrates, Mg( pic )2.nH2O(M = Mg, Sr, Ba ; Hpic = 2,4,6-trinitrophenol, HOC6H2(NO2)3), all crystallized from aqueous solution.
Journal ArticleDOI
Direct synthesis and crystal structures of new heteropolynuclear complexes containing aminoalcohol ligands : From heterobi- (Co/Zn) to heterotrimetallic (Cu/Co/Zn) compounds
TL;DR: In this paper, three novel heterometallic complexes have been prepared from zerovalent zinc, cobalt thiocyanate, zinc acetate and an acetonitrile solution of 2-(dimethylamino)ethanol in air.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, structure and optical limiting properties of organoruthenium-chalcogenide clusters
Mark G. Humphrey,BJ Lockhart-Gillett,Marek Samoc,Brian W. Skelton,Vicki-Anne Tolhurst,Allan H. White,Adele J. Wilson,Brian F. Yates +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a single crystal X-ray diffraction study of Ru3(CO)12 with Ph3PS affords the compounds [Ru3(l3-S)2(CO 9 n(PPh3)n ]( n = 1 (1a), 2 (2a)) and [Ru 3(l 3-S)(l3CO)(CO)7(Pph3)2 ]( 3a) as the major products.
Journal ArticleDOI
Syntheses and crystal structures of binuclear gold(I), silver(I) and copper(I) complexes containing bulky pyridyl functionalised alkyl ligands
Tania R. van den Ancker,Suresh K. Bhargava,Fabian Mohr,Stavroula Papadopoulos,Colin L. Raston,Brian W. Skelton,Allan H. White +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the dimeric structures of (CO)AuCl, CuCl or AgNO3 with 2-LiC(SiMe3)2-Py-6-CH2R gave the binuclear metal compounds.
