Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and biological activities of conformationally restricted cyclopentenyl-glutamate analogues.

TL;DR: An efficient method for preparing conformationally restricted cyclopentenyl-glutamate analogues in a regioselective and diastereoselectives manner has been developed using a formal [3 + 2] cycloaddition reaction of dehydroamino acids.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reactions between ruthenium cluster carbonyls and 1,4-diphenylbuta-1,3-diyne

TL;DR: In this article, the molecular structures of complexes 1, 2, 3 and 5 have been determined from single-crystal X-ray studies, and all complexes have precedents in similar products obtained from reactions involving mono-ynes; in the present cases, each alkyne fragment retains a phenylethynyl group as a non-coordinated substituent.
Journal ArticleDOI

Models for Arginine-Metal Binding. Synthesis of Guanidine and Urea Ligands through Amination and Hydration of a Cyanamide Ligand Bound to Platinum(II), Osmium(III), and Cobalt(III).

TL;DR: Amination with liquid ammonia gave a rare coordinated guanidine (N,N-dimethylguanidine) ligand, which NMR spectra and X-ray crystal structures show to be charge neutral rather than anionic, indicating high affinity of Guanidine ligands for metal ions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mixed Transition Metal/Lanthanide Complexes: Structural Characterization of Solids Containing Cage Amine Chromium(III) Cations and Tris(dipicolinato)lanthanide Anions

TL;DR: In this article, a series of complexes of stoichiometry [Cr((NH2)2sar)]- [Ln ( dipic )3] has been synthesized and structurally characterized by room-temperature single-crystal X-ray studies.
