TL;DR: In this paper, the (±)-benzyl(methyl)(4-methylphenyl)(naphthalen-1-yl)arsonium cation has been synthesized and subsequently resolved by fractional crystallization of monohydrogen [R*,R*)]-2,3-bis(benzoyloxy)- butanedioate salts.
