Journal ArticleDOI

Coordinating Tectons 4: Coordination Chemistry of the 4,5-Diazafluoren-9-yl Moiety as a Metallo-Ligand for Allenylidene Complexes

TL;DR: In this article, the 4,5-diazafluoren-9-yl moiety has been utilized in the construction of multinuclear complexes incorporating a ruthenium(II) allenylidene functionality.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Synthesis, Structures and Polymorphism of the Dimeric Trivalent Rare-Earth 3,5-Dimethylpyrazolate Complexes [Ln(Me2pz)3(thf)]2

TL;DR: A variety of rare-earth 3,5-dimethyl pyrazolate (Me2pz) complexes have been synthesized by direct reaction of Hg-activated metal with Me2pZH as a pro-ligand at elevated temperatures, by redox transmetalation/protolysis with the lanthanoid element, Hg(C6F5)2, and Me 2pzH, and by protolysis of tris[bis(trimethylsilyl)amido]cerium(III) with Me 2
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal structures of 2-Hydroxyimino-1-phenylethan-1-one and ethyl 3-Oxo-2-sodiooxyiminobutanoate

TL;DR: The crystal structures of the title compounds, PhCOCH=NOH (5) and Na+[MeCOC(=NO-)CO2Et],-2H2O (10), have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction at 295 K and refined by least squares to R 0.051, 0.062 (815, 1199 'observed' reflections) respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cluster chemistry: LXXVII. Carbide clusters from Ru5(μ5-C2PPh2)-(μ-PPh2)(CO)13 and Fe2(CO)9: X-ray structures of MRu4(μ5-C)(μ-dppm)(CO)13 · 0.5CH2Cl2 (M = Fe and Ru) and FeRu5(μ-6-C)(μ-PPh2)2(CO)13(PMe2Ph)

TL;DR: In this paper, five complexes have been isolated from the reaction between Ru 5 (μ 5 -C 2 PPh 2 )(μ-PPh2 )(CO) 13 ( 1 ) and Fe 2 (CO) 9, including the previously described isomer of ( 1), Ru 5(μ 5-C 2 Ph)(μ 4 -PPh)(μ-pPh 2 ))(CO), and the dicarbido complex Fe 3 Ru 5
