Crystallographic and N.M.R.-Relaxation Studies on Bis [{N,N'-(1,3-dimethylpropanediylidene)dianilinato}(1–)]nickel(II)

TL;DR: In this paper, a single-crystal X-ray structure determination of bis[{N,N'-(1,3-dimethylpropanediyldene)dianilinato)(1-)]nickel(II) at 295 K shows that, within each of the two independent molecules of the complex within the structure, the nickel atom is chelated by two of the bidentate ligands and is thus four-coordinate.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cyclopentadienyl-ruthenium and -osmium chemistry. Part 18. Oxidative addition and nitrosylation reactions: crystal structure of [Os-(NO)(PMe3)2(η-C5H5)][PF6]2

TL;DR: In this paper, the crystal structure of [Os(NO)(PMe3)2(η-C5H5)][PF6]2 has been determined by single-crystal X-ray methods at 295 K and refined by least squares to a residual of 0.044 for 2 038 ‘observed’ reflections.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ligand assembly and metal ion complexation: syntheses and X-ray structures of Ni(II) and Cu(II) benzoate and 4-tert-butylbenzoate complexes of cyclam

TL;DR: In this article, the X-ray structures of trans-[Ni(O-benzoato)2(cyclam)], trans-[Cu(H2O)2 (cyclam)]-(benzoate)2·2H 2O and trans-[C2O](H 2 O 2 O) 2 (4-t-butyl-Benzoate), where cyclam is 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane is 1.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tricyanovinylalkynyl–metal complexes: synthesis and some reactions

TL;DR: Reactions of Group 8 metal ethynyls with tetracyanoethene afford tricyanovinylethynyl-metal derivatives, while homo- and hetero-metallic derivatives are obtained by coordination of one of the remaining CN groups to other metal-ligand fragments.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reactions of Ru3(μ-dppm)(CO)10 with unsaturated hydrocarbons Cycloocta-1,3,5,7-tetraene X-ray structures of Ru3(μ-dppm)(μ-C8H8)(CO)6, Ru3(μ3-PPhCH2PPh2)(μ3-C8H8)(PH)(CO)5, Ru3{μ3-PPhCH2PPh(C6H4)}(μ-C8H8)(μ-CO)(CO)4, and Ru3(μ-H{μ3-PPh2CHPPh(C6H4)}(μ-C8H9)(μ-CO)(CO)4

TL;DR: In this article, the reaction between Ru3(μ-dppm) and cycloocta-1,3,5,7-tetrane (cot) in refluxing thf afford the four complexes Ru3, C8H8, C 8H9, CO, and C6H4, which have been structurally characterised by means of X-ray crystallography.
