Hepatitis C Virus Isolates from Argentina Disclose a Novel Genotype 1-Associated Restriction Pattern

TL;DR: Hepatitis C virus isolates which disclosed a novel genotype 1-associated restriction pattern by restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis were characterized and revealed that these isolates constitute a novel genetic lineage within the main cluster of genotypes 1 strains.
Journal ArticleDOI

Local treatment with BPPcysMPEG reduces allergic airway inflammation in sensitized mice.

TL;DR: It is concluded that BPPcysMPEG was able to influence the immune system with regard to subsequent allergen contact by TLR2/6 agonization and to reduce allergic airway inflammation by preventive modulation of the innate immune system via TLR 2/ 6 agonization.
Journal ArticleDOI

Construction and characterization of genetically-marked bivalent anti-Shigella dysenteriae 1 and anti-Shigella flexneri Y live vaccine candidates.

TL;DR: The recombinant clones constitute promising vaccine candidates which can readily be distinguished from endemic shigellae by their non-antibiotic resistance marker.
Journal ArticleDOI
