Journal ArticleDOI
Reply to Liu et al.: ALK5-mediated tumor suppressor signaling through SMAD2 and SMAD3 in the uterus.
TL;DR: The conclusions are that this pathway acts as a tumor suppressor pathway, findings that are supported by a recent paper and should be cautiously interpreted.
Journal ArticleDOI
Using cancer proteomics data to identify gene candidates for therapeutic targeting.
Diana Monsivais,Sydney E Parks,Darshan S. Chandrashekar,Sooryanarayana Varambally,Chad J. Creighton +4 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors discuss some of the available public genomic and proteomic resources while considering approaches to how these could be leveraged for molecular biology insights or drug discovery, and demonstrate the inhibitory effect of BAY1217389, a TTK inhibitor, on uterine endometrial cancer cell line viability.
Posted ContentDOI
Renal carcinoma is associated with increased risk of coronavirus infections
TL;DR: This study indicates that CoV receptors may play an important role in modulating the immune infiltrate and hence cellular immunity in renal carcinoma, and demonstrates an extensive RNA and protein expression profiling analysis of these receptors across solid tumors and normal tissues.
Journal ArticleDOI
Author Correction: Genomic basis for RNA alterations in cancer
