Clinical implementation of the intrinsic subtypes of breast cancer.

TL;DR: All three gene sets were signifi cant predictors of outcomes in univariate and multivariate testing, which suggests that this is a robust classifi cation method, and there is little value to draw conclusions about the robustness and utility of a test based on research data from independent laboratories not intended for concordance testing.
Journal ArticleDOI

Erratum: Integrative Genomic Analysis of Cholangiocarcinoma Identifies Distinct IDH-Mutant Molecular Profiles (Cell Reports (2017) 18(11) (2780–2794) (S2211124717302140) (10.1016/j.celrep.2017.02.033))

Maintenance of hormone responsiveness in luminal breast cancers by suppression of Notch

TL;DR: A previously unrecognized plasticity of ER+PR+ luminal breast cancers is established that mobilizes outgrowth of hormone-resistant basal-like disease in response to treatment and can be prevented by combining endocrine therapies with Notch inhibition.
Journal ArticleDOI

MYC is amplified in BRCA1-associated breast cancers.

TL;DR: The data indicate that MYC oncogene amplification contributes to tumor progression in BRCA1-associated breast cancers, and conclude that the aggressive histopathological features of BRCa1- associated tumors are in part due to dysregulated MYC activity.
