Journal ArticleDOI

Midcingulate involvement in progressive supranuclear palsy and tau positive frontotemporal dementia

TL;DR: The posterior part of the MCC is prominently involved in the neurodegenerative process of PSP, and the severity of its hypoperfusion correlated with the extent of executive dysfunction in FTD tau.
Journal ArticleDOI

Symmetrical Corticobasal Syndrome Caused by a Novel c.314dup Progranulin Mutation

TL;DR: A novel GRN mutation is found in a patient with an atypical (CBS) presentation with symmetric neuroimaging findings in an important cause of CBS associated with FTLD-TDP type 3 pathology, sometimes in sporadic cases.
Journal ArticleDOI

Brain perfusion patterns in familial frontotemporal lobar degeneration

TL;DR: Familial FTLD-TDP shows relatively more posterior hypoperfusion, including the precuneus and inferior parietal lobule, possibly related to significant memory impairment and post hoc analysis of families with unknown genetic defect vs MAPT revealed less perfusion in the right frontal and parietal lobe.
