Journal ArticleDOI

Differential impairment of cerebrospinal fluid synaptic biomarkers in the genetic forms of frontotemporal dementia

TL;DR: In this article , a microflow LC PRM-MS set-up targeting 15 synaptic proteins: AP-2 complex subunit beta, complexin-2, beta-synuclein, gamma-synulein, 14-3-3 proteins (eta, epsilon, zeta/delta), neurogranin, Rab GDP dissociation inhibitor alpha (Rab GDI alpha), syntaxin-1B, syntaxin 7, and PEBP-1, with three other proteins increased in symptomatic MAPT mutation carriers compared with the other genetic groups (AP-2 subunit β, complex-unit complex-subunit gamma-sub-unit-β, and 14- 3-3 zeta-delta).
Journal ArticleDOI

Mendelian randomization implies no direct causal association between leukocyte telomere length and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

Y. Gao, +182 more
- 22 Jul 2020 -
TL;DR: Overall, the MR study did not support the direct causal association between LTL and the ALS risk in neither population, but provided suggestive evidence for the mediation role of LDL or TC on the influence of L TL and ALS in the European population.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mapping the genetic landscape of early-onset Alzheimer’s disease in a cohort of 36 families

TL;DR: In this article , the authors evaluated the possible polygenic architecture in a large series of families, to assess if genetic testing of familial early-onset Alzheimer's disease (EOAD) could be expanded.
