Erratum: Recommendations to distinguish behavioural variant frontotemporal dementia from psychiatric disorders (Brain (2020) 143 DOI: 10.1093/brain/awaa018)
Simon Ducharme,Annemiek Dols,Robert Laforce,Emma Devenney,Fiona Kumfor,Jan Van den Stock,Caroline Dallaire-Théroux,Harro Seelaar,Flora Gossink,Everard G. B. Vijverberg,Edward D. Huey,Mathieu Vandenbulcke,Mario Masellis,Calvin Trieu,Chiadi U. Onyike,Paulo Caramelli,Leonardo Cruz de Souza,Alexander Santillo,Maria Landqvist Waldö,Ramon Landin-Romero,Olivier Piguet,Wendy Kelso,Dhamidhu Eratne,Dennis Velakoulis,Manabu Ikeda,David C. Pijnenburg +44 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the last name of the author Ratnavalli Ellajosyula was misspelled, and this has now been corrected by the author and the author's publisher.
Journal ArticleDOI
Longitudinal Cognitive Changes in Genetic Frontotemporal Dementia Within the GENFI Cohort
Jackie M. Poos,Amy Macdougall,Esther van den Berg,Lize C. Jiskoot,Janne M. Papma,Emma L. van der Ende,Harro Seelaar,Lucy L. Russell,Georgia Peakman,Rhian S Convery,Yolande A.L. Rohrer +36 more
TL;DR: Cognitive decline in the asymptomatic and prodromal stage of genetic FTD is confirmed and confirms the value of neuropsychological assessment in tracking clinical onset and progression and could inform clinical trials in selecting sensitive end points for measuring treatment effects.
Journal ArticleDOI
Isoform-specific patterns of tau burden and neuronal degeneration in MAPT-associated frontotemporal lobar degeneration
Lucia A. A. Giannini,Daniel T. Ohm,Annemieke J.M. Rozemuller,Laynie Dratch,EunRan Suh,Vivianna M. Van Deerlin,John Q. Trojanowski,Edward A. Lee,John C. van Swieten,Murray Grossman,Harro Seelaar,David J. Irwin +11 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors studied grey matter tau burden, its relation to neuronal degeneration, and regional patterns of pathology in different isoform groups of FTLD-MAPT, and concluded that distinct isoform-related mechanisms of genetic tauopathies may share similar regional vulnerability to neurodegeneration within the frontotemporal paralimbic networks.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mapping the genetic landscape of early-onset Alzheimer’s disease in a cohort of 36 families
Merel O. Mol,S. J. van der Lee,Marc Hulsman,Yolande A.L. Pijnenburg,Philip Scheltens,Harro Seelaar,John C. van Swieten,Laura Donker Kaat,Henne Holstege,Jeroen van Rooij +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors evaluated the possible polygenic architecture in a large series of families, to assess if genetic testing of familial early-onset Alzheimer's disease (EOAD) could be expanded.
Posted ContentDOI
Global network structure and local transcriptomic vulnerability shape atrophy in sporadic and genetic behavioral variant frontotemporal dementia
Golia Shafiei,Vincent Bazinet,Mahsa Dadar,Mahsa Dadar,Ana L. Manera,D. Louis Collins,Alain Dagher,Barbara Borroni,Raquel Sánchez-Valle,Fermin Moreno,Robert Laforce,Caroline Graff,Matthis Synofzik,Daniela Galimberti,Daniela Galimberti,James B. Jiskoot,Harro Seelaar,John C. van Swieten,Jonathan D. Rohrer,Bratislav Misic,Simon Ducharme,Simon Ducharme,Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration Neuroimaging Initiative,Genetic Frontotemporal dementia Initiative +41 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated whether neurodegeneration patterns in sporadic and genetic frontotemporal dementia are conditioned by connectome architecture and found that the anterior insula was the predominant group epicenter of brain atrophy.
