High infrared emissivity of SiC-AlN ceramics at room temperature
Ming Zhu,Ming Zhu,Jian Chen,Nian Ran,Jia-qi Zheng,Zhengren Huang,Zhengren Huang,Xuejian Liu,Zhongming Chen +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of AlN contents on infrared emissivity, thermal conductivity and electrical properties of SiC-AlN ceramics were investigated, and it was shown that the improvement of total emissivities is slight before 3'wt%AlN, but impressive after 3'towthreshold AlN, where the impurity energy level formed by N atom doping into 4H-SiC and lattice distortion are mainly responsible for it.
Journal ArticleDOI
Harmonic frequency mixing in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+X intrinsic Josephson junctions
Huabing Wang,Y. Aruga,T. Tachiki,Yoshinao Mizugaki,Jian Chen,Kensuke Nakajima,Tsutomu Yamashita,P. H. Wu +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a c-axis junction stack with a Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+X single crystal was used to perform harmonic mixings between a 100 GHz signal and the 98th harmonic of a local oscillator at about 1 GHz.
Journal ArticleDOI
Numerical investigation of breaking solitary wave runup on permeable sloped beach using a nonhydrostatic model
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the hydrodynamic characteristics of breaking solitary wave runup on a permeable sloped beach using a nonhydrostatic model and found that the porosity of the beach has a substantial impact on the flow field for breaking waves running up a sloped sand.
Journal ArticleDOI
High-resolution numerical survey of potential sites for tidal energy extraction along coastline of China under sea-level-rise condition
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper used the Finite Volume Community Ocean Model (FVCOM) to carry out the numerical simulation work, which can accurately identify complex coastlines, such as those along islands, waterways, and estuaries.
Journal ArticleDOI
YBa2Cu3O7-δ Angle Grain Boundary Junction on Si Bicrystal Substrate
Jian Chen,Tsutomu Yamashita,Hajime Suzuki,Kensuke Nakajima,Hideyuki Kurosawa,Yoshiharu Mutoh,Yoshihiko Hirotsu,Hiroaki Myoren,Yukio Osaka +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the critical current density of the angle grain boundaries (AGB) was found to be always less than that of either bridge made on single-crystal grains (JcG).
