Targeted disruption of supraspinal motor circuitry reveals a distributed network underlying Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS)-like movements in the rat.
TL;DR: Targeted ablation of basal ganglia structures revealed a potential role for corticospinal, cerebello-rubro-spinal, and hypothalamic A11 dopaminergic systems in the development of restless legs syndrome (RLS), and showed that pramipexiole, a dopamine agonist used to treat human RLS, reduced RLS-like movements.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of Mg-Decorated Carbon Nanocomposites from MesoCarbon MicroBeads (MCMB) Graphite: Application for Wastewater Treatment
TL;DR: Results from XRD, SEM-EDX, and XPS analyses of the postsorption Mg/C composite indicate that phosphate adsorption is mainly controlled by the precipitation of P to form Mg3(PO4)2·8 H2O and MgHPO4·1.2H2O nanocrystals on the surface of the adsorbent.
Journal ArticleDOI
Crystal engineering based on polymeric hydrogen-bonded supramolecules by self-assembling of 4,4'-(9-fluorenylidene)diphenol and 4,4'-cyclohexylidenebisphenol with bipyridines
Qingdao Zeng,Dongxia Wu,Cai-Ming Liu,Hongwei Ma,Jun Lu,Shandong Xu,Yan Li,and Chen Wang,Chunli Bai +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the crystal structures of 1-5 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and the crystal structure of (CBP)-(bipy) 5.
Journal ArticleDOI
Acute Changes in Non-esterified Fatty Acids in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Receiving Bariatric Surgery
TL;DR: GBP, SG and VLCD have similar acute effects on decreasing palmitic acid, and BCF was improved only after VLP, while several NEFAs correlated with BCF parameters and HOMA-IR.
Journal ArticleDOI
Microbial community study in newly established Qingcaosha Reservoir of Shanghai, China
TL;DR: The results indicated that Qingcaosha Reservoir had ability to reduce the TN and TP in influent and improve the water quality overall, however, it also faced the risk of potential cyanobacteria bloom and eutrophication in Qingcao Reservoir where phosphorus will be the nutrient limiting factor.
