Nanoscale Coating of LiMO2 (M = Ni, Co, Mn) Nanobelts with Li+-Conductive Li2TiO3: Toward Better Rate Capabilities for Li-Ion Batteries

TL;DR: The complete, thin Li(2)TiO(3) coating layer strongly adheres to the host material and has a 3D diffusion path for Li(+) ions.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Growth Factor Environment Defines Distinct Pluripotent Ground States in Novel Blastocyst-Derived Stem Cells

TL;DR: The findings indicate that novel stem cell lines, with unique functional and molecular properties, can be generated from murine blastocyst embryos and demonstrate that the culture growth factor environment and cell-cell interaction play a critical role in defining several unique and stable stem cell ground states.
Journal ArticleDOI

Properties of hafnium oxide films grown by atomic layer deposition from hafnium tetraiodide and oxygen

TL;DR: In this article, polycrystalline monoclinic HfO2 films were atomic layer deposited on Si(100) substrates by a nonhydrous carbon-free process of HfI4 and O2.
Journal ArticleDOI

MicroRNA-30c inhibits human breast tumour chemotherapy resistance by regulating TWF1 and IL-11

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that microRNA-30c is transcriptionally regulated by GATA3 in breast tumours and inversely correlates with interleukin-11 expression in primary breast tumour patients, and low interleuko-11 correlates with relapse-free survival in breast cancer patients.
Journal ArticleDOI

Regulation of mir-196b by MLL and its overexpression by MLL fusions contributes to immortalization.

TL;DR: It is shown that MLL normally regulates expression of mir-196b, a hematopoietic microRNA located within the HoxA cluster, in a pattern similar to that of the surrounding 5' Hox genes, Hox a9 and Hoxa10, during embryonic stem (ES) cell differentiation.
