TL;DR: This work reports a size-dependent excess capacity beyond theoretical value by introducing extra lithium storage at the reconstructed surface in nanosized LiFePO4 (LFP) cathode materials and makes full use of the large specific surface area of the nanocrystallites, which can maintain the fast Li-ion transport and greatly enhance the capacity.

TL;DR: In this article, high quality HfO2 films were deposited on p-type Si(100) wafers by an atomic layer deposition scheme, and the deposited films were smooth, amorphous, and stoichiometric, as determined by atomic force microscopy, x-ray diffraction, and xray photoelectron spectroscopy, respectively.
