Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of mutant huntingtin on striatal neurons differentiated from huntington’s disease induced pluripotent stem cells
Vb Mattis,Ad Ebert,J Yu,S Akimov,Castiglioni,Elisa Fossale,T Juopperi,J Kaye,A King,A Mason,J. .I. Moon,M Onorati,Wheeler,S Winokur,Nicholas D. Allen,J Arjomand,Elena Cattaneo,Steven Finkbeiner,J. F. Journal ArticleDOI
Inherited HTT CAG repeat length does not have a major impact on Huntington disease duration.
TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the relationship between CAG repeat length and age at onset and found that older individuals with HD proceed more aggressively to death with longer CAG length.
Journal ArticleDOI
Huntington’s disease age at motor onset is modified by the tandem hexamer repeat in TCERG1
S. V. Lobanov,Branduff McAllister,M. McDade-Kumar,Bernhard Landwehrmeyer,Michael Orth,Anne Elizabeth Rosser,Jane S. Paulsen,Jongmin Lee,Marcy E. MacDonald,James F. Gusella,Jeffrey D. Long,Mina Ryten,Nigel Williams,Peter Holmans,Thomas Massey,Lesley Jones +15 more
TL;DR: The authors found a significant association between age at onset and the sum of the repeat lengths from both alleles of the quasi-tandem repeat (QTR) hexamer in exon 4 of TCERG1 with a central pure repeat.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Multi-Omic Huntington's Disease Transgenic Sheep-Model Database for Investigating Disease Pathogenesis.

Verma,Simon C Bawden,Stefano Patassini,Stefano Patassini,Stefano Patassini,Richard D. Unwin,Richard D. Unwin,Garth J. S. Cooper,Garth J. S. Cooper,Garth J. S. Cooper,James F. Gusella,Marcy E. MacDonald,Rudiger Brauning,Paul S. MacLean,John F. Pearson,Henry J. Waldvogel,Richard L.M. Faull,Russell G. Snell +24 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present the "multi-omic" HD sheep database as a queriable web-based platform that can be used by the wider HD research community (https://hdsheep.cer.auckland.ac.nz/).

The timing and impact of psychiatric, cognitive and motor manifestations of Huntington’s disease
Branduff McAllister,James F. Gusella,G. Bernhard Landwehrmeyer,Jong-Min Lee,Marcy E. MacDonald,Michael Orth,Anne Elizabeth Rosser,Nigel Williams,Peter Holmans,Lesley Jones,Thomas Massey +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed retrospective clinical data from individuals with manifest Huntington's disease (HD) to assess the prevalence, timing and functional impact of psychiatric, cognitive and motor manifestations of the disease.
