Xu,Michael Zemcov,Michael Zemcov +93 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the potential of submmmm and submm-mm-radio photometric redshifts using a sample of mm-selected sources as seen at 250, 350 and 500 µm by the SPIRE instrument on Herschel was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
An intrinsic correlation between GRB optical/UV afterglow brightness and decay rate
S. R. Oates,Mat Page,M. de Pasquale,Patricia Schady,A. A. Breeveld,S. T. Holland,N. P. M. Kuin,F. E. Marshall +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined a sample of 47 Swift/UVOT long Gamma-ray Burst light curves and found a correlation between the logarithmic luminosity determined at 200s, log L200s, and average decay rate measured from 200s onwards, α>200s.

The Swift UVOT grism calibration and example spectra
TL;DR: The calibration of the two UVOT grisms which provide slitless spectroscopy in the 170-500 nm (UV grism) and 295-660 nm (visible grisms) ranges has been completed as mentioned in this paper.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Optical telescope BIRT in ORIGIN for gamma ray burst observing
Ray M. Sharples,Mat Page,R. Cole,David M. Walton,Berend Winter,Kristian Pedersen,Jens Hjorth,Michael I. Andersen,Allan Hornstrup,Jan-Willem den Herder,Luigi Piro +10 more
TL;DR: The ORIGIN project as mentioned in this paper is a space mission with a gamma ray, an X-ray and an optical telescope to observe the gamma ray bursts at large Z to determine the composition and density of the intergalactic matter in the line of sight.
