Journal ArticleDOI
Design, synthesis and antitumor activity of triterpenoid pyrazine derivatives from 23-hydroxybetulinic acid.
Hengyuan Zhang,Wang Yiwei,Peiqing Zhu,Jie Liu,Shengtao Xu,Hequan Yao,Jieyun Jiang,Wen-Cai Ye,Xiaoming Wu,Jinyi Xu +9 more
TL;DR: The biological screening results showed that all of the derivatives exhibited more significant antiproliferative activity than the parent compound and pyrazine-fused 23-hydroxybetulinic acid exhibited the most potent activity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, in vitro and in vivo antitumor activity of pyrazole-fused 23-hydroxybetulinic acid derivatives.
Hengyuan Zhang,Peiqing Zhu,Jie Liu,Yan Lin,Hequan Yao,Jieyun Jiang,Wen-Cai Ye,Xiaoming Wu,Jinyi Xu +8 more
TL;DR: A collection of pyrazole-fused 23-hydroxybetulinic acid derivatives were designed, synthesized and evaluated for their antitumor activity and especially compound 15e displayed the most potent activity with the IC50 values against B16 and SF763 cancer cell lines.
Journal ArticleDOI
Saxifragifolin B from Androsace umbellata induced apoptosis on human hepatoma cells.
TL;DR: Evidence is provided that SB isolated from A. umbellata could induce apoptosis on human hepatoma HepG2 cells and the molecular mechanism is described, revealing the potential of SB as new chemotherapeutic agent for human hepatomas.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, Biological Evaluation of Fluorescent 23-Hydroxybetulinic Acid Probes, and Their Cellular Localization Studies
Hong Yao,Guoxiang Wei,Yanpeng Liu,Hequan Yao,Zheying Zhu,Wen-Cai Ye,Xiaoming Wu,Jinyi Xu,Shengtao Xu +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of fluorescent 23-HBA derivatives conjugated with coumarin dyes were designed, synthesized, and evaluated for their antiproliferative activities.
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel cajaninstilbene acid derivatives as antibacterial agents.
Zhi-Zhong Geng,Jian-Jun Zhang,Jing Lin,Mei-Yan Huang,Lin-Kun An,Hong-Bin Zhang,Ping-Hua Sun,Wen-Cai Ye,Wei-Min Chen +8 more
TL;DR: Assays suggest that some of the synthetic cajaninstilbene acid derivatives exhibit potent antibacterial activity against gram-positive bacterial strains and MRSA.
