Fabrication of Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticle with Well-Defined Multicompartment Structure as Efficient Drug Carrier for Cancer Therapy in Vitro and in Vivo.

TL;DR: The obtained silica particles inherited the structure feature of vaterite and had excellent biocompatibility and biodegradability and were established as an efficient anticancer drugs carrier compared with hollowsilica particles.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Critical Role of Processing and Morphology in Determining Degradation Rates in Polymer Solar Cells

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of oxygen and light on the degradation of charge-transport properties of the bulk polymer active layer are studied over short timescales, and it is shown that although different processing techniques produce similar efficiencies for pristine devices, they result in different degradation rates.
Journal ArticleDOI

Femtosecond laser direct writing of large-area two-dimensional metallic photonic crystal structures on tungsten surfaces.

TL;DR: This study demonstrates a new approach to directly write two-dimensional MPCs on tungsten surfaces through the cylindrical focusing of two collinear femtosecond laser beams with certain temporal delays and orthogonal linear polarizations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Radiation induced damage and recovery in poly(3-hexyl thiophene) based polymer solar cells.

TL;DR: In this article, the open circuit voltage, dark current and power conversion efficiency showed degradation consistent with the generation of defect states in the polymer semiconductor and showed clear signs of recovery upon removal of the irradiation source (degraded from 4.1% to 2.2%.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simultaneous SO2 removal and CO2 reduction in a nano-BiVO4|Cu-In nanoalloy photoelectrochemical cell

TL;DR: In this article, a photoelectrochemical (PEC) process based on nanoelectrodes was proposed to realize CO2 reduction and SO2 removal simultaneously through a PEC process.
