Effect of thermal treatment and fluoride ions on the electrochemical corrosion behavior of selective laser melted CoCrW alloy

TL;DR: In this paper, a corrosion mechanism associated with the fluoride ion to the as-SLMed CoCrW alloy was proposed, which accelerated the corrosion by changing the composition of the passive film, thereby reducing the protectiveness of the film.
Journal ArticleDOI

Increase of Co 3d projected electronic density of states in AgCoO2 enabled an efficient electrocatalyst toward oxygen evolution reaction

TL;DR: In this paper, the surface charge of AgCoO2 (ACO) was tailored to achieve the desired performance of OER catalysts via tuning surface charge transfer state, and the reduction of unoccupied Co 3d projected state in the hybrid brought optimized delocalized charge density of ACO and decreased reaction free energy barriers involved on the Co site.
Journal ArticleDOI

Organic single-crystal complementary inverter

TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate the operation of an organic single-crystal complementary circuit in the form of a simple inverter, which is constructed from a high mobility p-type organic singlecrystal transistor of tetramethylpentacene (TMPC) and a n-type single crystal transistor of N,N′-di[2,4-difluorophenyl]-3,4,9,10-perylenetetetracarboxylic diimide (PTCDI).
Journal ArticleDOI

Anisotropy of microstructure and tensile properties of Ti–48Al–2Cr–2Nb fabricated by electron beam melting

TL;DR: In this paper, the anisotropy of TiAl-48Al-2Cr-2Nb fabricated by electron beam melting (EBM) with three different microstructures, namely hot isostatic pressing (HIP), duplex (DP) and fully lamellar (FL) microstructure was investigated.
