Galvanic corrosion behavior of copper/titanium galvanic couple in artificial seawater

TL;DR: In this paper, the corrosion behaviors of copper and copper/titanium galvanic couple in seawater were studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and electrochemical noise (EN) techniques in conjunction with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) method.
Journal ArticleDOI

The investigation of donor-acceptor compatibility in bulk-heterojunction polymer systems

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors correlated the cell performance with surface energy between the donor and acceptor materials in a bulk-heterojunction cell and found that higher photocurrent can be attributed to the morphology improvement induced by larger surface energy difference (Δγ) between the low bandgap polymer and fullerene.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and Optical Properties of Novel Transparent Al-Doped-ZnO/Epoxy Nanocomposites

TL;DR: In this paper, the preparation and optical properties of novel transparent Al-doped zinc oxide (AZO)/epoxy nanocomposites were reported, where the AZO precursor was synthesized via the homogeneous precipitation method and the nanoparticles were obtained by calcination of the precursor at different temperatures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Emerging memory devices

TL;DR: FENA's research path will continue to focus on improving the presented memory devices, and integrating with logic elements, while exploring other emerging memory devices based on nanomaterials, nanostructures, and the next generation of low-cost assembly techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tuning the p-Orbital Electron Structure of s-Block Metal Ca Enables a High-Performance Electrocatalyst for Oxygen Reduction.

TL;DR: In this article, a carbon catalyst with calcium (Ca) single atom coordinated with N and O is reported, which displays exceptional ORR activities in both acidic condition (E1/2 ǫ= 0.77 V, 0.1 m HClO4 ) and alkaline condition (e1/ 2 Ãǫ = 0.90 V, 1 m KOH) and exhibits remarkable performance in zinc-air battery with a maximum power density of 218mW cm-2, superior to a series of catalysts reported so far.
