A Sinter-Resistant Catalytic System Fabricated by Maneuvering the Selectivity of SiO2 Deposition onto the TiO2 Surface versus the Pt Nanoparticle Surface
TL;DR: This work demonstrates the feasibility of using a new triphasic system with uncovered catalyst to maximize the thermal stability and catalytic activity and offers a general approach to the synthesis of high-performance catalytic systems with tunable compositions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photonic Crystals That Can Be Addressed with an External Magnetic Field

Journal ArticleDOI
Direct Oxidation of Methanol on Pt Nanostructures Supported on Electrospun Nanofibers of Anatase
TL;DR: In this article, an electrocatalytic study of electrospun anatase nanofibers decorated with Pt catalysts in the form of nanoparticles or nanowires was performed.

Surface patterning and its application in wetting/dewetting studies
Younan Xia,Dong Qin,Yadong Yin +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a well-characterized model system for studying the wetting and dewetting behaviors of liquids on heterogeneous surfaces, and demonstrate that the three-dimensional morphologies of the liquid microstructures could be easily controlled by changing the two-dimensional features patterned on the surface of a solid substrate.
