Synthesis and Evaluation of Superparamagnetic Silica Particles for Extraction of Glycopeptides in the Microtiter Plate Format

TL;DR: The synthesis of superparamagnetic silica particles with hydrazide groups on the surface and their use as the solid support for SPEG are described and demonstrated, demonstrating the potential of thesesuperparamagnetic colloidal particles for high-throughput analysis of glycoproteins.

Decahedral nanocrystals of noble metals: Synthesis, characterization, and applications

TL;DR: In this article, a brief introduction to the unique features and properties of decahedral nanocrystals, followed by thermodynamic and kinetic analyses of their formation mechanisms are presented. And a survey of synthetic routes to the synthesis of monometallic (Ag, Au, Pd, Cu, Rh, and Pt) and alloy (Pd, Ag, Au and Pd), as well as their derivatives with a core-shell, core-frame, or one-dimensional structure is presented.
