TL;DR: It is shown that monocyte subpopulation distribution and transcriptomes are significantly altered by the presence of endometrial and breast cancer and an auto-regulatory loop between TAMs and cancer cells driven by tumor necrosis factor alpha involving SIGLEC1 and CCL8 is identified.

TL;DR: A novel artificial intelligence-assisted image analysis platform that quantifies cytokine-driven vascular inflammation from routine CT angiograms is developed and its prognostic value in COVID-19 is validated, suggesting that vascular inflammation might have been a therapeutic target of dexamethasone in CO VID-19.
