TL;DR: A dynamic authentication protocol based on the identity of a user for multi-server architecture without using verification tables is proposed, which fulfills the security requirements such as mutual authentication, traceability and identity protection along with the facility to share a session key among all the servers for secure communication.
Abstract: E-governance or electronic governance is an application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for delivering cost-effective government services by any country to its citizens with reliability, transparency and efficiency. Majority of authentication schemes for e-governance in India are based on single-server environment. To access the services, users need to register themselves at the authentication server for every e-governance service. Various e-governance services work through different servers, and therefore users get registered on each server separately. These services and servers require a unified and integrated authentication scheme to overcome the problem of multiple registrations and login processes. This paper proposes a dynamic authentication protocol based on the identity of a user for multi-server architecture without using verification tables. It is also capable of integrating all the existing e-governance projects. The proposed protocol fulfills the security requirements such as mutual authentication, traceability and identity protection along with the facility to share a session key among all the servers for secure communication.

01 Sep 2016TL;DR: The purpose of this project was to introduce a new speech recognition system that is computationally simple and more robust to noise than the HMM basedspeech recognition system.
Abstract: A real time speech to text conversion system converts the spoken words into text form exactly in the similar way that the user pronounces. We created a real time speech recognition system that was tested in real time noiseous environment. We used the design of a bidirectional nonstationary Kalman filter to enhance the ability of this Real time speech recognition system. Bidirectional Kalman filter has been proved to be the best noise estimator in nonstationary noiseous environment. Real time speech to text conversion system introduces conversion of the uttered words instantly after the utterance. The purpose of this project was to introduce a new speech recognition system that is computationally simple and more robust to noise than the HMM based speech recognition system. We have used our own created database for its flexibility and TIDIGIT database for its accuracy comparison with the HMM based speech recognition system. MFCC features of speech sample were calculated and words were distinguished according to the feature matching of each sampled word. System was tested in different noise conditions and we obtained overall word accuracy of 90%.

TL;DR: In this paper, a headspace GC/MS analysis of essential oils isolated from the roots, stems and aerial (inflorescence and leaves) parts of Nepeta leucophylla was carried out.
Abstract: In the present study headspace GC/MS and GC/MS analysis of essential oils isolated from the roots, stems and aerial (inflorescence and leaves) parts of Nepeta leucophylla was carried out. The essential oils were isolated using Clevenger apparatus by hydro-distillation method. The isolated essential oils were also screened for its total polyphenolic content (TPC) and antioxidant potential using the ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP), total antioxidant capacity (TAC) and 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assays. The headspace GC/MS and GC/MS analysis of different parts and essential oils of N. leucophylla revealed the presence of monoterpene hydrocarbons, sesquiterpene hydrocarbons, oxygenated monoterpene hydrocarbons, oxygenated sesquiterpenes hydrocarbons, oxygenated diterpene hydrocarbons and phenolic diterpene hydrocarbons as major classes of volatile constituents. Caryophyllene, germacrene D, α-phellandrene, α-pinene, abieta-9(11),8(14),12-trien-12-ol, α-selinene, viridiflorol, totarol, α-terpinene, δ-cadinene are key volatile secondary metabolites identified in different parts of N. leucophylla and its essential oils using headspace GC/MS and GC/MS analysis. All the essential oils had similar TPC values. Further, the antioxidant potential of essential oil isolated from aerial parts was higher than that of roots and stems essential oil in case of all the assays, but the antioxidant potential of both essential oils is less than that of standard used. Furthermore, the correlation among TPC values and different antioxidant assays was also evaluated. The existing results of volatile phytoconstituents and antioxidant potential of essential oils suggest that the N. leucophylla have promising potential to be used in aroma, food and pharmaceutical industries.

TL;DR: In this paper, two stochastic models and computation algorithm of the piston manufacturing plant are illustrated using the state-space transition diagram and availability parameter is used for its behavioral study, and the conclusion is discussed based on the resulting computations.
Abstract: Piston plays a vital role in almost all types of vehicles. The present study discusses the behavioral study of a piston manufacturing plant. Manufacturing plants are complex repairable systems and therefore, it is difficult to evaluate the performance of a piston manufacturing plant using stochastic models. The stochastic model is an efficient performance evaluator for repairable systems. In this paper, two stochastic models and computation algorithm of the piston manufacturing plant are illustrated using the state-space transition diagram and availability parameter is used for its behavioral study. Finally, the conclusion is discussed based on the resulting computations.
