TL;DR: SA sorting is one of the approaches developed to check sorted big numbers as it works better on sorted numbers than quick sort and many others.
Abstract: Sorting is one of the operations on data structures used in a special situation. Sorting is defined as an arrangement of data or records in a particular logical order. A number of algorithms are developed for sorting the data. The reason behind developing these algorithms is to optimize the efficiency and complexity. The work on creating new sorting approaches is still going on. With the rise in the generation of big data, the concept of big number comes into existence. To sort thousands of records either sorted or unsorted, traditional sorting approaches can be used. In those cases, we can ignore the complexities as very minute difference exists in their execution time. But in case the data are very large, where execution time or processed time of billion or trillion of records is very large, we cannot ignore the complexity at this situation; therefore, an optimized sorting approach is required. Thus, SA sorting is one of the approaches developed to check sorted big numbers as it works better on sorted numbers than quick sort and many others. It can also be used to sort unsorted records as well.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the impact of celebrity attractiveness, product congruence, and attitude towards brand on consumers' purchase intention, and found that celebrity attractiveness had a significant positive influence on consumer's purchase intention.
Abstract: Upon scanning the existing literature on celebrity endorsement, it is observed that present studies have explored the influence of select celebrity endorsement factors or consumer factors on shoppers’ purchase intention. However, these studies have not explored the cumulative effect of these antecedents on shoppers’ intention to buy. Thus, the present study examines the impact of two celebrity endorsement factors—celebrity–product congruence and celebrity attractiveness, and three consumer factors—attitude towards the brand, attitude towards advertisement and involvement, on purchase intention. In due course, the research has also validated the measurement scales of the select constructs in Indian perspective. The paper has developed and tested the model for predicting shoppers’ purchase intention using hierarchal regression. The findings of the study indicate that celebrity attractiveness, consumers’ attitude towards advertisement and attitude towards brand have a significant positive influence on consumers’ purchase intention. Interestingly, the study contradicted some of the earlier papers and noted the insignificant impact of celebrity congruence and consumer involvement on purchase intention. The article closes with discussions and managerial implications.

TL;DR: The role of IoT in disaster management is described, an implementation of some examples of the application of IoT such as early-warning system for fire detection and earthquake and some approaches talking about the application, IoT architecture are represented, focusing on different disasters.
Abstract: The advanced technology Internet of Things (IoT) visualizes a worldwide, that is, internally connected, networks of smart physical entities. IoT is a promising technology used in several applications including disaster management. In disaster management, the role of IoT is so important and ubiquitous and could be life-saving. This article describes the role of IoT in disaster management. More precisely, it presents IoT-based disaster management for different kind of disasters with a comparison between some solutions that are available in the market. It shows an implementation of some examples of the application of IoT such as early-warning system for fire detection and earthquake and represents some approaches talking about the application, IoT architecture, and focusing of the study on different disasters. This study could be a good guide to stakeholder about the use of IoT technology to secure their smart cities’ infrastructure and to manage disaster and reduce risks.

TL;DR: Experimental results show that MSMO outperforms other popular algorithms like particle swarm optimization, cuckoo search, firefly algorithm, biogeography based optimization, differential evolution, tabu search and Taguchi method in terms of reduced side lobe level and faster convergence speed.
Abstract: This paper presents a novel optimization technique named as modified spider monkey optimization (MSMO) for the synthesis of linear antenna array (LAA). The proposed method is inspired from a recently developed spider monkey optimization (SMO) swarm intelligent technique. The competitiveness of SMO has been already proved using numerical optimization functions. To improve the performance of SMO, a MSMO algorithm based on dual-search strategy is proposed in this paper. This approach generates a new solution using a search equation selected randomly from a candidate pool consisting of two search strategies. The performance of the proposed method is tested by applying it to find the optimal solutions for standard benchmark functions. Further, the capability and effectiveness is also proved by using it for practical optimization problem, i.e., synthesis of LAA for three different cases. Experimental results show that MSMO outperforms other popular algorithms like particle swarm optimization, cuckoo search, firefly algorithm, biogeography based optimization, differential evolution, tabu search and Taguchi method in terms of reduced side lobe level and faster convergence speed.
