TL;DR: Comprehension of vertebrate diversity is a fundamental condition for the development of attitudes compatible with its conservation, which emphasizes the importance of biological literacy in achieving this purpose.
Abstract: Recognition of the diversity of living beings, including the classification and naming of species, is a fundamental condition for biological literacy with the aim of developing critical awareness of human relationships with nature, and for which formal education plays an important role. The present study aimed to analyze the representation that urban/rural students have for wild vertebrates and their main sources of knowledge. Data collection took place in three public schools, one urban and two rural, in the municipality of Campina Grande, Paraiba, Brazil. Questionnaires were given to 990 students (528 urban and 462 rural), distributed among all the grades that comprise middle school (Ensino Fundamental II, grades 6–9) and high school (Ensino Medio, grades 10–12) education. A total of 5877 citations were mentioned by the students, which corresponded to 224 distinct animals with 166 (72.0%) being wild vertebrates, 24 (25.7%) being domestic vertebrates, and 34 (2.3%) being invertebrates. Mammals and reptiles had the greatest observed richness of citations, while mammals (H′ = 3.37), birds (H′ = 2.84), and invertebrates (H′ = 2.94) had the greatest diversity. Positive correlations were found between citations of wild vertebrates and family income (rt = 0.06; P < 0.05) and curricular development (rs = 0.08; P < 0.01); negative correlations were found between curricular development and citations of domestic animals (rs = − 0.22; rs = − 0.11 P < 0.01) and between age group and citations of invertebrates (r = − 0.14; rs = − 0.11 P < 0.01). As for the sources of knowledge regarding the animals indicated by the students, “media,” “daily experiences,” “tradition” (here understood as knowledge resulting from interactions with parents and experienced community members), and “formal education” stood out. Comprehension of vertebrate diversity is a fundamental condition for the development of attitudes compatible with its conservation, which emphasizes the importance of biological literacy in achieving this purpose.

TL;DR: For instance, a recent study as mentioned in this paper testou diferentes modelos alometricos for estimar a total of arvores a partir do diâmetro do tronco in a zona de ecotono in Roraima, Brazil.

TL;DR: Evaluated infectious diseases in this study were tuberculosis, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV/AIDS, syphilis, viral hepatitis, leishmaniasis, and malaria, which were the most commonly reported diseases.
Abstract: Background: Following socio-economic turmoil in Venezuela, millions of the Venezuelan people are migrating to the neighboring Latin American countries including Brazil. Besides the social and economic burden of these migrants, Brazil must manage the health-related issues arising as consequence of these Venezuelan migrants.Poor health services in Venezuela along with unhygienic travelling conditions, lack of food (malnutrition) and potable water, unhealthy and overcrowded refugee camps or shelters, poor availability of medical services have made the migrant Venezuelan population susceptible to various diseases, especially infectious diseases.SINAN system is a health-related system in Brazil that keeps track of different health occurrences in the society and allows health care workers and policymakers free access to these data. Objectives: To evaluate the emergence of infectious diseases as a consequence of the arrival of Venezuelans immigrants in Brazil and to assess the importance of SINAN for epidemiological surveillance. Methods: Observational retrospective study. Data were collected from the SINAN system between 2015 and 2017 and was analyzed using descriptive statistics, and Mann-Whitney test (using SPSS tool version 12). Evaluated infectious diseases in this study were tuberculosis, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV/AIDS, syphilis, viral hepatitis, leishmaniasis, and malaria. Results: STIs were the most commonly reported diseases. Compared to Brazilians, Venezuelan migrants reported significantly higher number of HIV/Aids (p < 0.046) and leishmaniasis cases (p < 0.049), while Brazilians reported significantly higher number of hepatitis cases (p < 0.046). Malaria was also more prevalent among Venezuelan migrants than native Brazilians. Conclusion: Increased incidence of infectious diseases among the migrant population should be considered seriously as lack of adequate control of these diseases might lead to outbreaks.

TL;DR: EOs of C. citriodora and L. microphylla are promising for controlling S. frugiperda, with emphasis on the volatile effect ofC.
Abstract: Fall armyworm, Spodoptera frugiperda (Smith) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) is one of the main pests in maize crop with developing resistance to chemical products and Bt technology. Therefore, alternative control methods such as essential oils are important steps in the implementation management strategies for this pest. This study aimed to evaluate the efficiency of essential oils (EOs) of Corymbia citriodora, Myrciaria dubia (Myrtaceae), Lippia microphylla (Verbenaceae) and Piper umbelattum (Piperaceae) in controlling S. frugiperda. The OEs were extracted and mortality tests were conducted with topic and volatile applications, in 30 second-instar caterpillars originated from insect rearing and artificial diet. As a control, we conducted tests with distilled water and acetone. EOs that provided mortality rates above 80% were submitted to chemical analysis for constituent identification. The efficient EOs were only those of C. citriodora and L. microphylla. For EO of C. citriodora, the LD80 was 7.06 ± 0.73 mg.g-1 in topical application and 5.85 ± 0.75 µL via volatile application. On the other hand, for EO of L. microphylla, DL80 was 9.95 ± 1.25 mg.g-1 in topical application and 18.56 ± 3.55 µL via volatile application. Chemical analysis showed that the main constituents were citronella for the EO of C. citriodora and (E)-caryophyllene and (E)-nerolidol to the EO of L. microphylla. EOs of C. citriodora and L. microphylla are promising for controlling S. frugiperda, with emphasis on the volatile effect of C. citriodora oil.

TL;DR: The increasing interest in camu-camu fruit is due to its remarkable ascorbic acid or vitamin C content, and it is known as “King of Vitamin C” or “Super Fruit”, but its consumption is still restricted because of its high acidity, bitterness and astringency in the skin so that specific technologies are needed for its use and consumption.
Abstract: The high levels of vitamin C in camu-camu have stimulated the interests of extractivists, farmers and consumers. The aim of this study was to characterize five accessible for family agroindustry different formulations of camu-camu popsicles and assess their acceptance. A completely randomized design was used and the treatments consisted of five different popsicle formulations: camu-camu pulp (T1 and T2: 27%, T3 and T4: 20.8%; T5: 61%), water (T1 and T2: 43.5%, T3 and T4: 20.8%; T5: no water), whole milk powder (T1 and T2: 14.7%, T3 and T4: 29.2%; T5: 18.3%), sugar (T1 and T2: 14.7%, T3 and T4: 29% and T5: 20.6%), neutral alloy and emulsifier. The formulations were processed and the popsicles were evaluated for pH, soluble solids, titratable acidity, vitamin C, acceptability index (SS/TA) and macro and micro nutrients were identified. In the sensorial analysis, the popsicles were evaluated for appearance, color, flavor, texture and purchase intent by 40 untrained tasters. The acceptance of the camu-camu popsicles was lower when the formulation was more diluted. Formulations T3, T4 and T5 showed the most wanted qualitative attributes and these preparations received top scores in the sensory analysis.

TL;DR: The life parameters estimated in this study can be used for modelling and predicting the population growth of R. indica in the field and consequently for improving their management strategies.
Abstract: The red palm mite, Raoiella indica Hirst, is a threat to coconut, banana and native Arecaceae and Heliconiaceae in Brazil. This mite originated in the Eastern Hemisphere and was first reported in 2004 in the Americas, where the pest is spreading quickly and causing severe damage to its host plants. The objective of this work was to determine the life-history parameters of R. indica at constant temperatures, estimate its thermal requirements [threshold temperature (Tb) and thermal constant (K)] and also compare its life table parameters between sexual reproduction and parthenogenesis. The life tables were constructed on leaflets of Adonidia merrillii at 15, 20, 24, 27, 30 and 34 °C and 65% RH and a 12-h photoperiod. The longevity and the number of laid eggs of non-copulated adult females were evaluated at 27 °C. Raoiella indica had complete development, from egg to adult, only at 20, 24, 27 and 30 °C. At 15 °C, the eggs did not hatch, and at 34 °C, the mites survived only until the larval stage. For sexual reproduction, the optimal temperature was 27 °C, under which the reproductive parameters were higher. The reproductive parameters for sexual reproduction were higher than those for parthenogenesis. The Tb was 14.79 °C, and the thermal constant was 208.33 degree days. The life parameters estimated in this study can be used for modelling and predicting the population growth of R. indica in the field and consequently for improving their management strategies.

TL;DR: Thielaviopsis ethacetica is the species causing pineapple sett rot disease in Brazil and was supported by sexual compatibility tests, as crossings between the pineapple strain and some sugarcane strains resulted in the formation of perithecia exuding ascospore masses at their apices.
Abstract: Sugarcane pineapple rot is an important sugarcane stem disease that also affects germination and sprouting. In Brazil, the disease is caused by Thielaviopsis paradoxa sensu lato which has been split into at least five distinctive phylogenetic and biological species in the reinstated genus Thielaviopsis. In this study, three purported strains of T. paradoxa s. lat. isolated from sugarcane stems were characterized and compared with a strain from pineapple fruit, using morphology, DNA sequence analyses and sexual compatibility tests. Inoculations were also performed on asymptomatic stems of plants to assess the pathogenicity of the four fungal strains on sugarcane. Based on results of the phylogenetic analyses of combined ITS and TEF-1a gene sequences, the strains were identified as T. ethacetica. This was also supported by sexual compatibility tests, as crossings between the pineapple strain and some sugarcane strains resulted in the formation of perithecia exuding ascospore masses at their apices. The inoculation test on sugarcane resulted in stem rot and in reduced germination of buds. Thielaviopsis ethacetica is thus the species causing pineapple sett rot disease in Brazil.

TL;DR: In this article, a theoretical-methodological approach for the education of music teachers who are aware of the implications of their experiences with music and its teaching in pedagogical practice in basic education is presented.
Abstract: When thinking about the possibilities of working as a Music Teacher, basic education presents itself as a path of challenges and wide horizons for teacher training. In the face of new public policies and curricular guidelines, it is urgent to promote the debate about the musical educator’s formation in regard to their own educational trajectory with music that, in most cases, did not occur in basic education. Thus, the article aims to problematize the results of a research, pointing out the possibilities of a theoretical-methodological (auto)biographical approach for the education of music teachers who are aware of the implications of their experiences with music and its teaching in pedagogical practice in basic education. The discussion informs the debates on Music Education in the scope of the study on music teachers and in the possibilities of continuous training, as well as in what refers to these professionals’ initial formation.

TL;DR: It was demonstrated that A. baumannii XDR international clones were responsible for nosocomial infections in Boa Vista during 2016-2018, revealing that the epidemiological scenario of A.baumanni infections in Amazon Region resembles those from the cosmopolitan regions worldwide.
Abstract: BACKGROUND Acinetobacter baumannii is a leading cause of nosocomial infections. This species is characterised by the presence of pandemic lineages (International Clones) that present a broad antimicrobial resistance profile. OBJECTIVE To perform the molecular epidemiology of carbapenem-resistant A. baumannii from a clinical setting in the Amazon Basin, and to characterise their antimicrobial resistance determinants. METHODS The genetic relationship of carbapenem-resistant A. baumannii were assessed by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) and multilocus sequence typing (MLST). Class A, B and D β-lactamase genes were screened by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and sequencing. The antimicrobial susceptibility profile was obtained by Disc-diffusion method and minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) determination. FINDINGS All carbapenem-resistant A. baumannii strains belonged to three international clones, IC-1, IC-5 and IC-6, the latter recently reported by the first time in Brazil. The major determinant of carbapenem resistance in IC-1 and IC-5 strains was bla OXA-23, associated with ISAba1 and ISAba3, respectively, while IC-6 harboured the bla OXA-72. CONCLUSIONS The A. baumannii epidemiology in Brazilian Amazon Region was unknown. It was demonstrated that A. baumannii XDR international clones were responsible for nosocomial infections in Boa Vista during 2016-2018, revealing that the epidemiological scenario of A. baumannii infections in Amazon Region resembles those from the cosmopolitan regions worldwide.

TL;DR: The results indicated high diversity of endophytic bacteria present among the roots of Brazil nut trees, mainly in the agroforestry area, which could be related to soil attributes.
Abstract: Brazil nut is a very important nontimber forest product in the Amazon region. Propagation of this tree still represents a challenge due to slow and uneven seed germination. In this context, plant growth-promoting bacteria can facilitate the process of propagation. The aims of this study were to isolate and characterize endophytic bacteria from the roots of Brazil nut trees in native terra firme forest and cultivation areas in northern Brazil, and to identify mechanisms by which bacteria act in plant growth promotion. Overall, 90 bacterial isolates were obtained from the roots of Brazil nut trees in monoculture, agroforestry and native forest areas by using different semisolid media. The isolates were characterized by sequencing the 16S rRNA gene. Plant growth-promoting characteristics were evaluated by the presence of the nifH gene, aluminum phosphate solubilization and the production of indole compounds. The isolates were affiliated with 18 genera belonging to 5 different classes (α-Proteobacteria, β-Proteobacteria, γ-Proteobacteria, Bacilli and Actinobacteria). The genus Bacillus was predominant in the forest and monoculture areas. Fourteen isolates presented the nifH gene. Most of the bacteria were able to solubilize aluminum phosphate and synthetize indole compounds. The results indicated high diversity of endophytic bacteria present among the roots of Brazil nut trees, mainly in the agroforestry area, which could be related to soil attributes. Among the 90 isolates, the 22 that presented the best results regarding plant growth promotion traits were good candidates for testing in seedling production of Brazil nut trees.

TL;DR: For the first time, a distinct multicellular gland-like structure is found in the petioles of three species of Rhynchosia, supporting the definition of the systematic boundaries among the species.
Abstract: Comparative studies on the structure of foliar anatomy in four species of Rhynchosia from Roraima state (northern Brazilian Amazon) were carried out to identify additional morphological characters to support the definition of the systematic boundaries among the species. Fully expanded leaves, including the petioles, were collected from the upper nodes of a plant’s stem. Anatomical characters were observed in cross-sections of the middle portion of leaflets and petiole segments. Presence and distribution of glandular trichomes, continuity of sclerenchyma around the vascular bundles in leaflet blades and the conformation of the area between the two ridges of petioles were important characters to distinguish among the species of Rhynchosia. For the first time we report a distinct multicellular gland-like structure which we found in the petioles of three species.

TL;DR: There was governmental manipulation, when the symbolic power was unveiled, making it possible to see and believe that nursing needs to guide political issues rather than being ruled.
Abstract: Objective: To analyze the strategies undertaken by the government to address the health problem in Boa Vista/Roraima. Method: A study using the microhistory approach, with documentary sources from journalistic material of the 1970s through the triangulation technique: texts, images and context, with analysis from the perspective of the Social World Theory. Results: It was evidenced that the strategies undertaken by the government occurred in favor of the exploration of isolated areas in Roraima that demanded settlement processes, construction of villages and a highway to enable the interconnection of the state with other regions of Brazil, with a smoke screen symbolic effect produced by nurses on indigenous health. Conclusion: There was governmental manipulation, when the symbolic power was unveiled, making it possible to see and believe that nursing needs to guide political issues rather than being ruled.

Abstract: This paper presents an exploratory study whose main objective was to draw an overview of the strict sense research carried out in Brazil, addressing the use of active methodologies in the teaching of physics, from 2009 to 2019. To achieve this objective we analyzed theses and dissertations available in the collection of the Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertacoes - BDTD. The choice for this platform is justified by its breadth. By defining the descriptors "active methodologies" AND "Physics", related by the Boolean operator "AND" and adopting as exclusion criteria the non-belonging to the area of Physics, we identified twenty-six works. After analyzing the selected material, it was possible to detect a sharp growth in the number of these researches in recent years, most of them composed by dissertations from professional master’s programs. Almost all the work was carried out in public institutions and addressed the use of active methodologies at all levels of education, most of them directed to high school. We also found that there is a predominance of the use of Peer Instruction methodology. Another fact that deserves attention is the concentration of research in the Southeast and South regions from Brazil.

TL;DR: The objective of this work was to investigate the vegetative and reproductive phenological behavior of sugar apple under the savanna conditions of the state of Roraima, and proves that the phenologicalbehavior of the species is influenced by climatic conditions.
Abstract: Sugar apple ('Annona squamosa' L.) is a commercially significant fruit species due to its nutritional qualities. The state of Roraima has excellent soil and climatic conditions for the cultivation of the species. However, no studies on the phenological behavior of this plant have been reported in the literature. In this context, the objective of this work was to investigate the vegetative and reproductive phenological behavior of sugar apple under the savanna conditions of the state of Roraima. The experiment was carried out in four seasons of the year (2014/2014 and 2015/2015 rainy season and 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 Summer). Production pruning was carried out in February 2014 (2014.1 cycle), September 2014 (2014.2 cycle), February 2015 (2015.1 cycle) and September 2015 (2015.2 cycle). Forty plants were monitored during the experiment and evaluated every three days for the following variables: beginning date of bud swelling; duration of flowering; and fruit harvest time. From the observed data, the periods (days) between each phenological stage were calculated: pruning/bud swelling; pruning/beginning of flowering; bud swelling/anthesis; pruning/anthesis; anthesis/beginning of fruit harvest; duration of fruit harvest, and crop cycle (production pruning/harvest). The duration of the cycle, from the production pruning to the harvest varied according to the productive period, recording 146 days for the 2014.1 cycle and 127 days for the 2014.2 cycle, which proves that the phenological behavior of the species is influenced by climatic conditions.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors identify the access that sports teachers have to Adapted Physical Education continuing education through academic curriculum analyses, and find that the knowledge of lack of professional qualification is highly associated with the fact that teachers resort very little to continuing education opportunities.
Abstract: To think about disability, also consists in going back to the Adapted Physical Education’s history. The Adapted Physical Education officially arose at Universities through the 3/87 Resolution of the Education Federal Council, and was considered a milestone for professional qualification in the field, in Brazil. In this sense, we aim to identity the access that Sports teachers have to Adapted Physical Education continuing education through academic curriculum analyses. Our results showed that the knowledge of lack of professional qualification is highly associated with the fact that teachers resort very little to continuing education opportunities. TL;DR: The used managements contribute to the emergence of new species of spontaneous plants and weeds in the Cerrado of Roraima.
Abstract: Weeds from soils submitted to different tillage managements were identified in two consecutive years of soybean cultivation in the Cerrado of Roraima. The study was carried out in three areas: native area (NA), mechanically mowed native area (MA), and limed area (LA). A descriptive analysis of the phytosociological parameters relative density (Drr), relative frequency (Frr), relative dominance (Dor), importance value index (IVI), and index of relative importance (IRI) was performed to interpret the results. The weed similarity index (SI) was also calculated in the assessed areas. The highest relative frequencies were observed for Trachypogon plumosus (40.92%), Bulbostylis capillaris (18.52%), and Spermacoce capitata (18.33%) in the native area and T. plumosus (24.69%), Cyperus flavus (24.69%), and S. capitata (18.52%) in the mowed area. Among the species collected in the areas, the botanical families Poaceae, Cyperaceae, Fabaceae, and Rubiaceae are the most representative. The used managements contribute to the emergence of new species of spontaneous plants and weeds in the Cerrado of Roraima.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the veg-etative performance of pineapple cultivars propagated by tissue culture in response to the use of organic sub-strates, different in nature and proportion.
Abstract: Fusariosis constitutes an important hindrance to pineapple farming in Brazil. The cultivars resistant to fusariosis, ‘Vitoria’ and ‘Imperial’, from in vitro culture, are an alternative for crop management. This work evaluates the vegetative performance of pineapple cultivars propagated by tissue culture in response to the use of organic substrates, different in nature and proportion. The experimental design was a completely randomized block, arranged in a 3×5 factorial scheme, with three pineapple cultivars (‘Perola’, ‘Vitoria’, and ‘Imperial’) and five substrates [ORG: Organoamazon®, organic compound; SS: Standard Substrate, soil + sand (1:1 v/v); SS + M + C: SS + sheep manure (M) + carbonized rice husk (C) (2:1:1 v/v); SS + M (3:1 v/v); SS + C (3:1 v/v), unfolded in mean contrasts]. The variables analyzed were shoot and root growth and shoot nutrient content. The vegetative performance of cultivars, considering the increase of shoot dry weight in the most responsive substrate, was: ‘Perola’ > ‘Vitoria’ > ‘Imperial’. Substrate ORG promoted higher increases in shoot dry weight (259%) and root density (116%) compared to the average of the other substrates. The growth promoted by ORG resulted in higher N, P, K, Ca, and Mg content in pineapple plants. Substrates ORG and SS + M + C are recommended for acclimatization of in vitro propagated pineapple seedlings in the period of ex vitro seedling acclimatization.

TL;DR: The pressure evolution of the magnetic properties and the rotation of the direction of the ordered moment for the Ce2RhIn7.79Cd0.21 compound under pressure suggest important changes of the single ion anisotropy of Ce3+ induced by applying pressure and Cd doping in these systems.
Abstract: The pressure evolution of the magnetic properties of the ${\mathrm{Ce}}_{2}{\mathrm{RhIn}}_{7.79}{\mathrm{Cd}}_{0.21}$ heavy fermion compound was investigated by single crystal neutron magnetic diffraction and electrical resistivity experiments under applied pressure. From the neutron magnetic diffraction data, up to $P=0.6\phantom{\rule{0.28em}{0ex}}\mathrm{GPa}$, we found no changes in the magnetic structure or in the ordering temperature ${T}_{N}=4.8\phantom{\rule{0.28em}{0ex}}\mathrm{K}$. However, the increase of pressure induces an interesting spin rotation of the ordered antiferromagnetic moment of ${\mathrm{Ce}}_{2}{\mathrm{RhIn}}_{7.79}{\mathrm{Cd}}_{0.21}$ into the $ab$ tetragonal plane. From the electrical resistivity measurements under pressure, we have mapped the evolution of ${T}_{N}$ and the maximum of the temperature dependent electrical resistivity (${T}_{\mathrm{MAX}}$) as a function of the pressure ($P\phantom{\rule{4pt}{0ex}}\ensuremath{\lesssim}3.6\phantom{\rule{0.28em}{0ex}}\mathrm{GPa}$). To gain some insight into the microscopic origin of the observed spin rotation as a function of pressure, we have also analyzed some macroscopic magnetic susceptibility data at ambient pressure for pure and Cd-doped ${\mathrm{Ce}}_{2}{\mathrm{RhIn}}_{8}$ using a mean-field model including tetragonal crystalline electric field (CEF). The analysis indicates that these compounds have a Kramers doublet ${\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Gamma}}}_{7}^{\ensuremath{-}}$-type ground state, followed by a ${\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Gamma}}}_{7}^{+}$ first excited state at ${\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Delta}}}_{1}\ensuremath{\sim}80\phantom{\rule{0.28em}{0ex}}\mathrm{K}$ and a ${\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Gamma}}}_{6}$ second excited state at ${\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Delta}}}_{2}\ensuremath{\sim}270\phantom{\rule{0.28em}{0ex}}\mathrm{K}$ for ${\mathrm{Ce}}_{2}{\mathrm{RhIn}}_{8}$ and ${\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Delta}}}_{2}\ensuremath{\sim}250\phantom{\rule{0.28em}{0ex}}\mathrm{K}$ for ${\mathrm{Ce}}_{2}{\mathrm{RhIn}}_{7.79}{\mathrm{Cd}}_{0.21}$. The evolution of the magnetic properties of ${\mathrm{Ce}}_{2}{\mathrm{RhIn}}_{8}$ as a function of Cd doping and the rotation of the direction of the ordered moment for the ${\mathrm{Ce}}_{2}{\mathrm{RhIn}}_{7.79}{\mathrm{Cd}}_{0.21}$ compound under pressure suggest important changes of the single ion anisotropy of ${\mathrm{Ce}}^{3+}$ induced by applying pressure and Cd doping in these systems. These changes are reflected in modifications in the CEF scheme that will ultimately affect the actual ground state of these compounds.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyze the way in which the Brazilian State has dealt with the Venezuelan migratory flow in order to carry out a critical analysis in the normative construction of responses to the flows that go to Brazil, through the confrontation of this state construction with the effectiveness of the measures and the compliance with international Human Rights.
Abstract: This article analyzes the way in which the Brazilian State has dealt with the Venezuelan migratory flow in order to carry out a critical analysis in the normative construction of responses to the flows that go to Brazil, through the confrontation of this state construction with the effectiveness of the measures and the compliance with international Human Rights. We will first analyze the Venezuelan migration in Roraima, in order to relate this flow to the legal framework of the Statute of Foreigners, new migration law and the Refugee Statute, as well as the emergency norms for the subject, such as Resolution 126 / 2017 of the CNIg, as well as Interministerial Order No. 9. Finally, it will be analyzed whether the legal norms of protection to the migrant in Brazil are consistent with the expectations promoted by Human Rights enshrined in international diplomas. The article concludes that the recognition of the serious and widespread violation of human rights in Venezuela, although belated, was adequate to the international commitments assumed by Brazil.
