TL;DR: In this article, transmission electron-microscopy examination revealed the appearance of hexagonal silicon inclusions in the subsrface silicon layer upon ion implantation and subsequent heat treatment of the SiO2/Si structure.
Abstract: Transmission electron-microscopy examination revealed the appearance of a hexagonal silicon (9R polytype) inclusions in the subsrface silicon layer upon ion implantation and subsequent heat treatment of the SiO2/Si structure. The formation of this hexagonal phase is stimulated by mechanical stresses arising in the heterophase system in the course of ion implantation.

Abstract: In this paper, a novel image encryption technique is proposed based on reference sets with some prime numbers and polar decomposition. In this technique, a primary secret key and reference sets are used in the generation of feature vector using a recursive random number generation (RRNG) process. This feature vector is then used for encryption process. Finally, a reliable decryption process has been presented to reconstruct the original image. The Simulated results demonstrate the efficiency and robustness of the proposed technique.

01 May 2021TL;DR: In this paper, a practical case study is presented, where, in order to design an efficient PDN, the cumulative impedance of the PDN is optimized below the target impedance.
Abstract: This paper discusses a discrete optimization problem of optimal design of Power Delivery Networks (PDN) in VLSI systems. In this paper, a practical case study is presented, where, in order to design an efficient PDN, the cumulative impedance of the PDN is optimized below the target impedance. For this purpose, the decoupling capacitors (from commercially available capacitors) are chosen in such a way that the minimum number of the capacitors are used, and also their optimal locations are identified. The different variants of inertia weight strategies incorporated into particle swarm optimization algorithms are used for this purpose. A comparative analysis of the performance of these algorithms is also presented.
