TL;DR: This work presents a detailed investigation of the performance of the relativistic coupled cluster method for calculating HFS constants within the finite-field scheme and constructs a theoretical uncertainty estimate based on investigations on basis set, electron correlation and relativism.
Abstract: Accurate predictions of hyperfine structure (HFS) constants are important in many areas of chemistry and physics, from the determination of nuclear electric and magnetic moments to benchmarking of ...

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present results of the granulometric composition of chip particles when sanding wood (beech) and wood-based materials (particleboard and semi-hardboard) using different types of sanders.
Abstract: The article presents results of the granulometric composition of chip particles when sanding wood (beech) and wood-based materials (particleboard and semi-hardboard) using different types of sanders – wide belt sander, narrow belt sander, and hand sander. On the basis of the carried out sieve analyses, the proportion of produced particles, which can be marked as dust with the particle size of ≤ 80 μm, is high at the interval from 89.21% - 96.29 %. The highest percentage of dust particles was reached at dust from the hand disk sander. At the end of the article we point to possible technical safety measures – additional dust exhausting, suction, to possibly reduce the dust getting to the working environment.

24 Apr 2019TL;DR: The aim of the paper is to review artificial intelligence tools used in tourism and to identify its role in smart tourism development, focusing on best practice examples and case studies that examine the use of AI phenomena in tourism.
Abstract: The recent development and use of information technologies in tourism lead to innovations that have revolutionised and automated almost every phase of tourist journey. In order to respond to these changes, the smart tourism concept emerged, providing real-time solutions, advanced analytics and enhancing tourist experience. The volume of created data and the need of real-time interactions and results challenge the tourism sector and open the door for the use of artificial intelligence (AI). However, there has been a lack of academic research on AI and its connection to smart tourism development so far. Therefore, the aim of the paper is to review artificial intelligence tools used in tourism and to identify its role in smart tourism development. The article focuses on best practice examples and case studies that examine the use of AI phenomena in tourism.

TL;DR: In this article, the canonical extension of a bounded lattice has been studied in the spirit of the theory of natural duality, where the topological representation due to M. Ploscica is replaced by a duality due to Allwein and Hartonas.
Abstract: This paper presents a novel treatment of the canonical extension of a bounded lattice, in the spirit of thetheory of natural dualities. At the level of objects, this can be achieved by exploiting the topological representation due to M. Ploscica, and the canonical extension can be obtained in the same manner as can be done in the distributive case by exploiting Priestley duality. To encompass both objects and morphismsthe Ploscica representation is replaced by a duality due to Allwein and Hartonas, recast in the style of Ploscica's paper. This leads to a construction of canonical extension valid for all bounded lattices, which is shown to be functorial, with the property that the canonical extension functor decomposes asthe composite of two functors, each of which acts on morphisms by composition, in the manner of hom-functors.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used a correlation analysis to examine the association between corporate governance as a part of socially responsible business and financial decision making process in the area of dividend policy and indebtedness.
Abstract: Many organizations today have realized that if they want to be successful, they must have a sense of responsibility not only for their business activities but also for the development of the whole society. Honesty, fairness, integrity and the people – consumers, customers, clients, community, the public, the company and their needs and interests are gradually taking top ranks in the charts of corporate values. This approach is entirely consistent with the concept of socially responsible business, of which corporate governance (in the economic field) can be considered an integral part. Our main objective is to highlight the importance of applying the principles of governance corporate for companies whose securities are listed on the Bratislava Stock Exchange. The paper uses a correlation analysis to examine the association between corporate governance as a part of socially responsible business and financial decision making process in the area of dividend policy and indebtedness. We measured the level of corporate governance by corporate governance index, which contains information about the disclosure of annual reports, corporate governance information in annual reports, the content of corporate governance statements, boards of companies, remuneration of board members, risk management, audit, remuneration and nomination committee characteristics. We have compiled the first corporate governance index in Slovakia and we found inspiration in foreign studies with respect to the specifics of the Slovak financial market. The most important contribution of this paper is the finding that the application of the principles of corporate governance affects financial decisions of companies. There is a correlation between the responsible application of corporate governance principles and the total debt of companies. And also, there is a correlation between responsible application of corporate governance principles and the amount of dividends paid to shareholders.
