TL;DR: Relatively high number of recorded taxa underlines important contribution of small lentic waterbodies to regional biodiversity of high-altitude ecosystems.
Abstract: A checklist of benthic macroinvertebrates of ponds of Tatra Mountains is presented. The checklist comprises 122 taxa including the first records of Derotanypus cf. sibiricus (Kruglova & Chernovskii, 1940) (Diptera: Chironomidae) and Arctocorisa carinata (Sahlberg, 1918) (Heteroptera) from Slovakia. The most diverse pond site supported 28 taxa, the minimum number of recorded taxa was 2. The richest group was Chironomidae (Diptera) constituting almost half of the total diversity (58 taxa), followed by Trichoptera with 15 taxa. The other higher taxonomic groups were represented by considerably lower taxa number. Relatively high number of recorded taxa underlines important contribution of small lentic waterbodies to regional biodiversity of high-altitude ecosystems.

TL;DR: In this paper, a systematic procedure for understanding the final state interactions in hadron processes was proposed, using the analytic structure of partial-wave amplitudes derived from u-and t-channel exchange diagrams in $2-g2$ scattering.
Abstract: Analyzing final state interactions in scattering processes in the non-perturbative regime of quantum chromodynamics (QCD), such as the hadron resonance region, is difficult Using the analytic structure of partial-wave amplitudes derived from u- and t-channel exchange diagrams in $2-g2$ scattering, the authors put forward a systematic procedure for understanding the final state interactions in hadron processes

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the effect of different variants of performing exercises, specifically: the number of repetitions (x 1) and rest intervals (x 2) on mastering a press headstand technique.
Abstract: The study objective is to determine physical exercises modes when developing motor skills in girls aged 15.Materials and methods. The participants in the study were 40 girls aged 15. To achieve the objectives set, the following research methods were used: study and analysis of scientific and methodological literature; pedagogical observation, timing of training tasks; pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics, methods of mathematical experiment planning, discriminant analysis. To achieve the objective set, the study examined the effect of different variants of performing exercises, specifically: the number of repetitions (x1) and rest intervals (x2) on mastering a press headstand technique. The girls aged 15 were divided into four groups according to the experiment plan. During the learning process, a method of algorithmic orders was used. The student could proceed to the next exercise only after a correct performance of the previous exercise on three consecutive attempts. The number of repetitions needed to teach exercises in each series of training tasks was recorded. The level of proficiency in the physical exercises performance was determined by the alternative method: “performed” or “failed”. A technically correct performance of the exercise gave the students “1” point; a failure to perform the exercise gave them “0” entered in the protocol.Results. The 22 type experiment made it possible to study the multifactorial structure of teaching the girls aged 15, using a program of algorithmic orders; to specify optimal correlations of factors for their use when teaching physical exercises during physical education classes; to collect data for the calculation of regression models of teaching separate series of training tasks and for discriminant analysis to obtain a generalized model of teaching an exercise in general.Conclusions. To select a generalized mode of exercises of the series of tasks when teaching girls aged 15 a press headstand and handstand, the first discriminant function can be used with an emphasis on the most informative variables. The regression equations obtained from the analysis of the 22 full factorial experiment data make it possible to specify and select the most effective modes of exercises for mastering separate series of training tasks.

TL;DR: In this article, heavy metal contamination of the technogenous sediments and soils at the investigated dump-field show irregular planar distribution and the heavy metal content in the surface water, drainage water and in the groundwater was studied both in the dry as well as during the rainy periods.
Abstract: The dump-fields Podlipa and Reiner at L’ubietova abandoned Cu-(Ag) deposit is situated at the boundary of the village settlement. The heavy metal contamination of the technogenous sediments and soils at the investigated dump-field show irregular planar distribution. Also the heavy metal content in the surface water, drainage water and in the groundwater was studied both in the dry as well as during the rainy periods. The speciation of As and Sb showed that there are present both As3+, Sb3+ as well as the less toxic As5+ and Sb5+ species. In the sediments prevail As5+ and Sb5+ species while in the water is dominant the As3+ and Sb3+ form. The article also presents results of the plant tissue degradation study in heavy metal contaminated conditions and compares them with those from reference sites. The cementation process causes substitution of iron by copper. The technogenous sediments and the contaminated soil of the dump show only very limited acidification potential. The installation of the Fe0-barrier seems to an acceptable solution for cleaning of the underground water.
