Corrosion behavior of magnesium, aluminum and zinc as anodic materials in chloride based electrolytes for use in primary and secondary electrochemical power sources
Branimir Jugović,Milica M. Gvozdenović,Jasmina Stevanović,Tomislav Trišović,Branimir N. Grgur +4 more
TL;DR: Corrosion behavior of magnesium, aluminum and zinc was investigated in primary and secondary electrochemical power sources as discussed by the authors, and it was concluded that zinc could be considered as a possible anodic material in both secondary and primary electrochemical systems.

Hydrogen Diffusivity During Corrosion of High-Purity Aluminum
Jiahe Ai,John R. Scully +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors determined the room temperature diffusivity of hydrogen in as-annealed (550°C for 5 h) 99.999% purity polycrystalline aluminum bilayer membranes following the procedure of K.R. Hebert.

The Effect of Annealing on Electrochemical Performances of an Al-Sn-Ga-Mg Alloy as an Anode for Al-air Batteries in Alkaline Electrolytes
TL;DR: In this article, an Al-0.08Sn-Ga-Mg alloy was annealed at 200 °C-400 °C for 10 h. The microstructure and corrosion morphology of the anode were observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and the effects of different annealing temperatures on the electrochemical properties of the Al anodes were studied by the hydrogen evolution rate, open circuit potential, Tafel curves, EIS and constant current discharge.
