Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of Sn incorporation on the growth mechanism of sprayed SnO2 films

TL;DR: In this paper, the growth mechanism of sprayed SnO2 films was investigated using x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and the Hall effect measurements indicated that the carrier concentration and mobility are sensitively dependent on the orientation and composition of the films.
Journal ArticleDOI

The production of diesel-like hydrocarbons from palmitic acid over HZSM-22 supported nickel phosphide catalysts

TL;DR: In this paper, the nickel phosphides supported on the commercial HZSM-22 catalysts were used to convert palmitic acid to diesel-like hydrocarbons under ambient pressure in the absence of any solvents.
Journal ArticleDOI

An accurate and simple universal curve for the energy‐dependent electron inelastic mean free path

TL;DR: In this article, the values of inelastic mean free paths (IMFPs) calculated from optical data for the three materials categories of elements, inorganic compounds and organic compounds are re-assessed to provide a simple equation giving an estimate of the IMFP knowing only the identities of the elements in an analysed layer and the atomic density of that layer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Surface analysis of oxidized aluminium. 2. Oxidation of aluminium in dry and humid atmosphere studied by ESCA, SEM, SAM and EDX

TL;DR: In this article, the authors showed localized corrosion and formation of hydroxide at noble precipitates like Al3Fe and α-AlFeSi at room temperature, 250°C and 500°C.
