Effects of synthesis catalyst and temperature on broadband dielectric properties of nitrogen-doped carbon nanotube/polyvinylidene fluoride nanocomposites
TL;DR: In this paper, nitrogen-doped carbon nanotube (N-CNT)/polymer nanocomposites exhibiting relatively high and frequency independent real permittivity ( e′ ) together with low dielectric loss (tan δ ) were synthesized by chemical vapor deposition, and their nanocom composites were prepared by melt-mixing with polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF).

Raman Spectrum of Graphite
F. Tuinstra,J. L. Koenig +1 more
TL;DR: Raman spectra are reported from single crystals of graphite and other graphite materials as mentioned in this paper, and the Raman intensity of this band is inversely proportional to the crystallite size and is caused by a breakdown of the k-selection rule.

TL;DR: At pH less than 5, the absorption and emission spectra of individual nanotubes show evidence of band gap–selective protonation of the side walls of the tube, which is readily reversed by treatment with base or ultraviolet light.
