DNA computation function.
J. Colin Cox,Andrew D. Ellington +1 more
TL;DR: Some folks certainly think so, but at some level a cellular computer is really no different than metabolism and gene regulation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Incorporating disulfide cross-links at the terminus of oligonucleotides via solid-phase nucleic acid synthesis
TL;DR: A new reagent has been prepared that allows disulfide cross-links to be introduced into nucleic acids during solid-phase synthesis and should be especially useful for synthesizing small but stable nucleic acid structures.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rapid targeted gene disruption in Bacillus anthracis
Roland Saldanha,Adin Pemberton,Patrick Shiflett,Jiri Perutka,Jacob T Whitt,Andrew D. Ellington,Alan M. Lambowitz,Ryan M. Kramer,Ryan M. Kramer,Deborah Taylor,Thomas J. Lamkin +10 more
TL;DR: The design and vector construction described here provides a useful tool for high throughput experimental interrogation of the Bacillus anthracis genome and will benefit efforts to develop improved vaccines and therapeutics.
Journal ArticleDOI
An RNA groove
TL;DR: NMR structure of an HIV-1 Rev peotide complexed with either the Rev binding elements or an RNA aptamer show that the helical peotide inserts into a widened major groove, however, significant local differences are observed.
