CD56-positive haematological neoplasms of the skin : a multicentre study of the cutaneous lymphoma project group of the european organisation for research and treatment of cancer
Chalid Assaf,Sylke Gellrich,Sean Whittaker,Alistair Robson,Lorenzo Cerroni,Cesare Massone,Helmut Kerl,Christian Rose,Andreas Chott,Sergio Chimenti,Christian Hallermann,Tony Petrella,Janine Wechsler,Martine Bagot,Michael Hummel,Katrin Bullani-Kerl,Marcel W. Bekkenk,Werner Kempf,Chris J.L.M. Meijer,Rein Willemze,Wolfram Sterry +20 more
TL;DR: Results show thatCD56+ cutaneous lymphoproliferative disorders, with the exception of CD56+ CTCL have a very poor prognosis, and it is clinically important to separate CD56-CTCL from the remaining CD56+, haematological disorders.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combined CADM1 and MAL promoter methylation analysis to detect (pre-)malignant cervical lesions in high-risk HPV-positive women
Renée M Overmeer,J.A. Louwers,Chris J.L.M. Meijer,Folkert J. van Kemenade,Albertus T. Hesselink,Nathalie Fransen Daalmeijer,Saskia M. Wilting,Daniëlle A.M. Heideman,René H.M. Verheijen,Afra Zaal,W. Marchien van Baal,Johannes Berkhof,Peter J.F. Snijders,Renske D.M. Steenbergen +13 more
TL;DR: The methylation marker panel CADM1‐M18 and MAL‐M1 may serve as an alternative molecular triage tool for hrHPV‐positive women.
Journal ArticleDOI
High prevalence of human papillomavirus infection in Mexican males: comparative study of penile-urethral swabs and urine samples.
Eduardo Lazcano-Ponce,Rolando Herrero,Nubia Muñoz,Mauricio Hernández-Ávila,Jorge Salmerón,Ahideé Leyva,Chris J.L.M. Meijer,Jan M. M. Walboomers +7 more
TL;DR: Human papillomavirus is a common sexually transmitted infection among Mexican males, and urine sample specimens cannot adequately detect the presence of this infection in males.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mechanisms of Human Lymphocyte Migration and their Role in the Pathogenesis of Disease
TL;DR: Evidence indicating that adhesive interactions between recirculating lymphocytes and the wall of high endothelial venules (HEV) are thought to play a central role in the pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory diseases and non-Hodgkin's lymphomas is discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
High-risk human papillomavirus testing versus cytology in predicting post-treatment disease in women treated for high-grade cervical disease: A systematic review and meta-analysis
Mariëlle Kocken,Mariëlle Kocken,Margot H. Uijterwaal,Anton L.M. de Vries,Johannes Berkhof,Johannes C.F. Ket,Theo J.M. Helmerhorst,Chris J.L.M. Meijer +7 more
TL;DR: HrHPV testing has a higher sensitivity than cytology in detecting high-grade post-treatment disease and has a similar specificity, which indicates that the hrHPV test should be included in post- treatment testing 6months after treatment.
