TL;DR: Age; increased respiratory rate; abnormal blood gas parameters and imaging findings; coexisting coronary heart disease; leukocytosis; lymphocytopenia; and several laboratory parameters were significant predictors of clinical deterioration, which could aid early identification and management of patients at risk.
