Journal ArticleDOI

Maftools: efficient and comprehensive analysis of somatic variants in cancer.

TL;DR: An R Bioconductor package, Maftools, is described, which offers a multitude of analysis and visualization modules that are commonly used in cancer genomic studies, including driver gene identification, pathway, signature, enrichment, and association analyses, and is independent of larger alignment files.
Journal ArticleDOI

Extracellular vesicle-packaged HIF-1α-stabilizing lncRNA from tumour-associated macrophages regulates aerobic glycolysis of breast cancer cells.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that tumour-associated macrophages enhance the aerobic glycolysis and apoptotic resistance of breast cancer cells via the extracellular vesicle transmission of a myeloid-specific lncRNA, HIF-1α-stabilizing long noncoding RNA (HISLA).
Journal ArticleDOI

The genomic landscape of nasopharyngeal carcinoma

TL;DR: The mutational landscape of 128 cases with NPC is determined using whole-exome and targeted deep sequencing, as well as SNP array analysis, which revealed a distinct mutational signature and nine significantly mutated genes, many of which have not been implicated previously in NPC.
