Journal ArticleDOI

Electrochemical Properties of Cu(II/I)-Based Redox Mediators for Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells

TL;DR: In this article, three Cu(II/I)-phenanthroline and two bipyridine redox mediators were studied on various electrodes and in variety of electrolyte solutions using cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photodegradation of surfactants. V. Photocatalytic degradation of surfactants in the presence of semiconductor particles by solar exposure

TL;DR: In this paper, the photodegradation of anionic sodium dodecylbenzenesulphonate (DBS), cationic benzyl-dodecyldimethyl ammonium chloride (BDDAC) and non-ionic p-nonyl-phenyl poly(oxyethylene).
Journal ArticleDOI

Evaluating the Critical Thickness of TiO2 Layer on Insulating Mesoporous Templates for Efficient Current Collection in Dye‐Sensitized Solar Cells

TL;DR: In this article, a conformal overlayer of titanium dioxide on an insulating mesoporous template was used as a photoanode for dye-sensitized solar cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evolution of an oxygen NEXAFS transition in the upper Hubbard band in {α}-Fe2O3 upon electrochemical oxidation

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that a critical electrochemical potential between 200 and 600 mV is necessary to change the electronic structure of the iron oxide at the surface of hematite nano-particulate films, and the electrochemical origin of this transition suggests that it is related with a surface state.
