Indolizine-Based Donors as Organic Sensitizer Components for Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells

TL;DR: In this article, organic donor motifs based on the planar nitrogen containing heterocycle indolizine are synthesized and incorporated into dye-sensitized solar cell (DSC) sensitizers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Avoiding Diffusion Limitations in Cobalt(III/II)-Tris(2,2'-Bipyridine)-Based Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells by Tuning the Mesoporous TiO2 Film Properties

TL;DR: This work illustrates how tuning the four characteristic parameters of the mesoporous TiO(2) layer, namely film thickness, particle size, pore size and porosity, by simply optimizing the TiCl(4) post-treatment, completely eliminates diffusion problems of cobalt(III/II) tris(2,2'-bipyridine) and at the same time maximizes the short-circuit photocurrent density.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermochemical Stability of Hybrid Halide Perovskites

TL;DR: In this paper, the chemical stability of methylammonium (MA) halide perovskites (MAPbI3, MAPbBr3, and MAPbCl3) is discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Molecular engineering of panchromatic unsymmetrical squaraines for dye-sensitized solar cell applications

TL;DR: In this paper, three unsymmetrical squaraine dyes JK-64, JK65, and JK64Hx, containing a bulky spirobifluorene or hexyloxyphenyl unit are designed and synthesized.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bright Blue Phosphorescence from Cationic Bis-Cyclometalated Iridium(III) Isocyanide Complexes

TL;DR: The first example of an iridium(III) isocyanide complex that emits blue phosphorescence not only in solution but also as a neat solid is reported, which is the first example in the world of its kind.
